  1. Jennings also has more TD catches than any Roughriders this game.
  2. We had a 21 person loser pool at work that started this week. 3 people are left.
  3. Yeah, you guys leave Brittany alone, dammit!
  4. I can't quote the part of your post that mentions it but I read about other QB's messing with ball pressure before. The difference, according to the article, is the others over or under inflated there balls prior to the refs checking them, not after. I don't know if there is any truth to that.
  5. C-Mike is a really fast and agile back but he goes down with minimal contact which doesn't exactly fit with the Seahawks O-line abilities. He should be able to find some big holes with Dallas's O-line and pull off some big runs. Another knock on him is he is fumble prone but if he can get that worked out he should be a good pick up for the Cowboys.
  6. I like Lulay but I have wanted to see what someone else could do for quite some time. He has no accuracy on his long ball and his decision making is not up to speed with what is happening on the field. I don't think Beck is the answer but until Lulay gets his stuff together he is the better choice.
  7. You are making the same mistake many of the Pats fans around here and around the league are making. You are responding as if the court ruling exonerated Brady. The court case was specifically about the process and the suspension, not Brady's guilt. For the most part, since there was nothing specific in the CBA about tampering with equipment, the defense attacked the leagues notion that it was on par with taking PED's and "legally" they're are unable to make that distinction. They also argued that Brady wasn't informed he would be punished for destroying his phone. I guess they just figured he should have known that. There is more but it all relates to the process not Brady's role. If the court case was about his guilt then we would most likely have a more definitive answer as they would have called on witnesses to testify. Witnesses that have first hand knowledge and have been conveniently silenced since this first came out. If the case was about the incident, the evidence against the Patriots is overwhelming. Jastremski's and McNally's texts about "the defalator" and going to espn. The visit to the urinal with the balls. Most importantly the fact that they were both suspended indefinitly. Is that the usual course of action for the Pats? Firing people for doing nothing wrong? Then there was Brady destroying his phone (and yes, despite some Pats fans misinformation, they were unable to retrive the texts on that phone). Brady gave them copies of the records but he chose what to show them. It all points the the balls being intentionally deflated. The only thing in question is who really knew? The other thing, since it's not in the CBA, is what can the NFL legally do about it? Unfortunately, without the testimony of the equipment personnel or Brady's phone the full truth may never be known but in the court of public opinion, if that matters to you, the balls were deflated and Brady knew it. You think two ball boys are going to mess with Football Jesus's footballs without him knowing? Of course there is also the question of how long has it been going on? It's highly unlikely it is a one off incident but in the court of law highly unlikely gets you sweet eff all. You can proclaim that the process and suspension was unfair. You can proclaim that all teams cheat. You can't proclaim that Brady is innocent in all of this until the truth comes out and that day may never happen. This court case had nothing to do with that so chill out Pats fans. Enjoy the fact your quarterback is back but dont go peacocking around here like he has been cleared of the accusation. Oh yeah and NPF, most people outside of Pats fans are refering to them as Shady or Br*dy and Belicheat. I wish you would stop calling out Seahawks fans for being homers and bandwagoners for enjoying their current success. Most people cheer for the team that is closest in proximity. Each year the media puts out a map that shows which team most fans in the area are cheering for. Cheering for a team on the other side of the continent and calling out others for being bandwagoners seems very hypocritical to me. I realize you have ties to that area but you can bet the majority of Pats fans here do not. Ease up buddy. That's it im out on this one. Lets play some football.
  8. Didn't the Patriots fire the guy who admitted to taking the balls into a separate room to let the air out? Why are they still arguing that it didn't happen? Are we supposed to believe that this guy did it on his own volition without the consent of the guy throwing them? Not bloody likely. Tom knew and more likely than not ordered it directly. His only hope now is a high priced team of lawyers coaching him on what to say and what evidence to destroy. He may still get off but in the court of public opinion, at least the one outside of New England, he's guilty.
  9. Better check your tone fella. Do you think I am comparing what he did to murder? Give your head a shake. Tell me another legal case where everybody knew someone was guilty, all of the evidence pointed to guilt, but they still got off?
  10. If the glove fits, amirite? Just realized I wrote "common" man. Haha
  11. Common man really? Aside from Pats fans I think everyone thinks he is guilty. We already know that someone deflated the footballs in the Pats organization. Do you really think Brady would know nothing about that? The "deflator" texts and now they find out he destroyed his phone the day of the investigation. I'm sorry, you can defend the length of the suspension all you want but he knew. His multi million dollar legal team may get him off now but he is guilty, just like OJ.
  12. According to Rapaport the NFL and NFLPA tried to work out a settlement but Brady wouldn't accept any offer that included him missing any games.
  13. Pats fan that can't control his emotions. 10:1 odds it's magician.
  14. As dirty as Jacksons season ending knee tackle on Morrah the previous game? I seem to recall some show boating after that one too. Your bias is showing. No big deal though, we all do it.
  15. Great win by the Lions. Weather was definitely a factor in this one. Suck it Glen Suitor.
  16. It was even shorter and the success rate of first downs under 1 yard in the CFL is what, 98.5%? With the ball starting on the 35yard line the Lions are already in field goal position so they were essentially playing for a tie barring a turnover. Terrible odds imo.
  17. No way McCallum makes that 55 yarder to put it in overtime. Loved the guy when he played here but he was way past his prime. Leone's got a cannon. Crap low tackle by Jackson on Morrah. Don't know if we'll see him again this season. I remember when he was a tight end for the Seahawks his tenure ended early due to injury. Hopefully he recovers quick. I don't know who decided not to go for it on the 3rd and short for the Rough Riders in OT but thanks anyway. Seemed like a Jacques Chapdelaine thing to do. Great win by the Lions to overcome all those calls extending drives for Rough Riders late in the game. Shades of the last 2 seasons that have soured the CFL for me a little of late. The Lions seemed to be on the short end of calls in a lot of games in that time span. They did let a couple of things go in the Lions favor in this one but I think the Riders got the bulk of the calls. Should have been a horse collar tackle on Gore on the winning drive. Glad they got the win anyway.
  18. I could do without the first week bye though.
  19. Sure thing, why don't you follow up your post with one of your witty deez nuts comments or one of the other countless classy retorts? I'm not going to get in a pissing match with you, it's not worth my time. Just quit while you are ahead or it's only a matter of time before your next vacation.
  20. The irony in this post is incredible. Seriously, you make it impossible to have a decent conversation on here anymore. I get you are defending your team but grow up a little.
  21. No they picked Jimmy Graham at 31st overall. Not too shabby.
  22. Seattle had a weak draft? Perhaps you missed who they picked in the first round? BTW, congrats on the SB win. I've been on a bit of a hiatus for the last couple of months so I never got the chance to say it.
  23. The only FA there is Maxwell. Or do you mean next years super bowl?
