  1. So you want to see a bunch of dudes make out? Not that there's anything wrong with that.
  2. I don't think that qualifies as a "bold" prediction. I can suggest a few more suitable adjectives if you'd like.
  3. I just figured if we are quoting Bennett we might as well pick a good one. Just trying to add a little levity to the situation. Good luck in the playoffs. Hope to see you guys in the superbowl.
  4. "It was the best run I've ever seen. I felt like he was running for freedom or something." - Michael Bennett
  5. I don't even mind it most of the time but to dismiss the discussion of other teams and then post some more unrelated pats stuff seems a little hypocritical to me.
  6. Looks like nfl.com has Seattle #1 in the week 17 power rankings but hey what do they know? Probably just a bunch of Hawks fans and homers. But who wants to talk about that amirite? On a side note Tom Brady just farted. I bet it smells like rainbows and unicorns.
  7. The majority of NFL pundits had Seattle ahead of Green Bay last week so not just Hawks fans. Many had the Patriots as number 1 too so it's okay to give football jesus and co. a little love if you want.
  8. Well, if we are using that logic. You don't think the 9ers wanted to beat Seattle in Santa Clara given what happened in the conference final last season? Or beat them in Seattle given the post game turkey feast on the 9ers logo after their last game? How about the fact the game in Arizona was for the division lead? For that matter all teams were going after seattle being the reigning champs and all that as well. As for your second point, how much did the Pats lose to KC by?
  9. Barring a tie between Green Bay and Detroit next week, if the Seahawks win there will be a three way tie so head to head is thrown out as the teams involved haven't all played each other and thus no sweep. Seahawks win the divisional record tiebreaker against everyone but would tie with Detroit thus they use their record against common opponents, Seahawks win.....again
  10. That was a nice Christmas message from Woody Johnson and his daughter and grandkids.
  11. For high school football it's more of a respect thing. Historically Friday night is high school footballs night. They see it as a developmental league for both players and fans and they encourage everyone to get involved. They don't want to take anything away from that and I truly respect them for that even though the selfish fan in me just wants more opportunity to watch nfl.
  12. I would love nfl on Friday and Saturday. I think you might have mentioned this before but the nfl has an agreement, don't know if it is in writing, that they will not have Friday games so people can watch high school football and no Saturday games because of college football.
  13. I'm pretty sure it's the Seahawks. If it's just Seahawks Cowboys then the Cowboys take it because of the head to head victory. In a 3 way tie head to head is thrown out and the next tie breaker is based on their record against similar opponents iirc.
  14. I think the penalty kick in soccer is the worst of all. Literally decides games based on the refs discretion. There is too much riding on calls in all of these games to be left to human eyes in the heat of the moment at full speed.
  15. I think Sackorpick is a more apt nickname.
  16. If you look close it looks like he got his left hand around and made contact before the helmet even got there so I don't think it was a penalty but I have seem similar calls made this season. I think in stuations like this replays of at least challenges are in order.
  17. That's what I mean. Even though it wasn't helmet to helmet it could still be a hit to head of a defenseless receiver and the result would have been the same. Refs often anounce the wrong calls and player numbers etc. due to miscommunication between refs but it doesn't mean there wasn't a penalty. Not saying that was the case here as a didn't see the replay but that still shot sure looks like shoulder to chin. That being said, had the receiver not bobbled the ball for 20 feet this never would have happened anyway. Browner got unlucky on that one.
  18. Although they may have got the call on the field wrong, isn't a shoulder to head or neck area of a receiver the same penalty? I didn't have time to see the replay so I'm not sure if that's where he got him.
  19. The Eagles had 153 total yards on offense. If not for Ryan fumbling the ball on the punt it would have been even worse.
  20. Give me things a sore loser says for $100 Alex.
  21. It's not just the penalty yards on the Seahawks they are talking about. It's about the fact that 8 of the 10 opponents they have played before this week were below their season average in penalties. 6 of those 8 were well below their average. Just last week the NFL said there were 2 missed interference calls in the KC game including the non call on Baldwin in the endzone. Last week against Arizona the refs seemed incapable of calling false starts against the Cards including a running back taking 2 steps before the snap seen by entire Seahawks defence. What's funny, I am watching the post game interview with Pete as I type this and he commented on this again. He clarified on his earlier comment by saying he just wished they would call the same things against the other teams. That being said I think a lot of stuff was let go by the refs for both teams this game but a lot of the Seahawks calls just happened to be in big plays. Marshaun taunting, wtf? Two touchdowns called back as well.
  22. Just checked the stats for the Jets Billls game. Percy Harvin with 1 catch on five targets for 2 yards. What's with this guy?
  23. Beckham Jr. wtf? They showed him making crazy one handed catches in warmup, now he does it in primetime, for a touchdown, while being held. Holy crap Edit: the least I could do is spell his name right
