  1. Hassli became a demonstrative cry baby every time he didn't get a call. How many times did he sit on his ass in the box with his hands in the air waiting for a call while the play was going on around him? Bad attitude, good riddance. As for last nights game, how do you not start Mattocks ffs? Reffing was pretty bad. The non call on Miller when he got tackled from behind on a breakaway in the box was unforgivable. So many calls are given on obvious dives and embellishment and they let an absolutely clear cut call like that go. Just makes you shake your head and change the channel.
  2. Does anyone know if they are going to lift the blackout on this game? It still says its not available in my region on bell satellite.
  3. My central A/C almost couldn't keep up with the heat today.
  4. You were hoping for nuggets but you keep getting flakes?
  5. I fully expected Cherry to tear Burr a new one tonight over the biting incident so I couldn't believe my ears when he actually defended him.
  6. There is a whloe lotta drama up in here, i just got finished reading the bro code.
  7. I havent been around here that much lately so I'm not up on all the drama. Whats up with the Carly blowup, she seemed like an okay dude.
  8. I am often amazed at how accurate that app is.
  9. Koschek is absolutely the worst coach ever on this show. He makes rampage look like a motivational speaker. His paranoia is rubbing off on his team and he has them all in fear before every fight. Most coaches use confidence to prepare their fighters but he has his guys convinced they are inferior ( and in many cases they are due to being unprepared). Nam looked like he was going to piss himself before the fight with Cody and if Cody hadnt gassed out he would have destroyed him. I cant effing wait for the GSP fight!
  10. He started picking on GSP's medic (Tate) pushing him, calling him a male nurse etc. so Tate finally retaliated and called him out on the time he faked being kneed while on the ground and Koschek lost it and grabbed his neck. He then accused GSP of bringing this guy in to get under his skin. My explanation does not do the actual events much justice but its clear that Koschek may be the dumbest man in MMA.
  11. Uriah Faber fights in the past have been extremely boring
  12. I cant belive the ref didnt take a point for that. He would have had a takedown in the first and most likely 2 in the second. It should be automatic, grab the fence to stop a takedown, lose a point. I didnt see the decision cause my PVR cut out. I guess the show ran long because of the world series. Was Koschek a douche again?
  13. Carwin injured his back, had to pull out of the nelson fight. Edit: oops didnt realize how old that news was, thanks captain obvious.
  14. All that muscle isnt always a good thing, just ask Bob Sapp
  15. Is this fight already scheduled? I assumed Velasquez would fight Carwin next and most likely lose.
  16. 58/6 x 220 or 6/58 x 220 depending on the location of the force in relation to the fulcrum. Unfortunately this question leaves out that little tidbit so give both answers and tell the instructor to get some better problems or youll go hacksaw jim duggan on him.
  17. its very common for trades training to include a math component that includes simple machines in this case being the lever. I wouldnt try to over complicate this one i think its pretty straight forward.
  18. Math speaks highly of you. It physics that cant stand ya (:
  19. This works too. The force will be 2126.66lbs/ft if the force is applied to the long side of the lever. 22.76 lbs/ft if is on the closer side
  20. Take the distances on either side of the fulcrum and divide one by the other, then multiply that by the focre applied to get the result. If the force applied is closer to the fulcrum then divide by the larger number to get a decimal number, do the opposite if it is further away
  21. If the force being applied is closer to the fulcrum there will be a force reduction and an increase in distance/speed. If it is further away the opposite is true.
  22. What end of the lever is the force being applied? Its a fairly simple problem, if you had a one pound force pushing on a point 2 feet from a fulcrum on a 3 foot bar your force will be doubled to 2 lbs/ft. The opposite scenario would give you force reduction of 1/2 pound. Use a ratio to figure out your problem.
