  1. Good what is the point of even having a charter of rights and freedoms if it is going to be just tossed to the side. I am glad someone has the balls to stand up.
  2. That would never work.. Funny Trump said he could win the war in like a week but he did not want to kill 20 million people… The main issue is radical Islam and it’s deadly destruction.. Until it is eradicated nothing will ever change. In the Quran it says not to murder innocent people but a sucide bomber kills and thinks he will go to heaven? what loving god would accept that. I believe education and the eradication of terrorists is the only way…mostly ISIS and Al Qaeda. Think of the Taliban as the good guys now.
  3. I have used Coinbase and Binance and they have worked perfectly except now Coinbase isn't accepted by many Canadian credit cards... Binance has something similar with interest called "earn" and they give you some small amounts of crypto. I like the withdrawal methods of Binance free e-transfers. Many options now...
  4. I think it should be evident that many hockey players and in general professional athletes are bad examples to follow with exception of the elite like Sedins, etc..
  5. I don’t know if that would work considering vaccines aren’t mentioned at all in any of the major religions. Unless you're suggesting they are the mark of the beast or something then they would be bad (think 666) I think a person claiming discrimination would have a weak argument unless they have some sort of medical condition preventing from getting one.
  6. Are you suggesting that all anti-vaxx people are unfortunate in their decision making like the people you mentioned above in bold? There are some intelligent people in that crowd like doctors, lawyers, MP's etc.. Please don't tell the misfortune of others taint the anti-vaxx crowd as stupid and naive.
  7. Sorry two shots is where the door stops.. Not even going to think about boasters or what not. I am not open for experimentation by Mickey Mouse advisors.
  8. I heard a lawyer speak on the radio and he said this will be challenged hard in courts as the potential for rights violation are there.. Now only the government side can be challenged not private sector businesses. Very disappointed with the outcome of this blasted vaccines passport..
  9. I am pretty sure it is just governments trying out secret tech and/or just fooling us the with prospect of alien life. So many sightings and not one picture of an alien? Hell I even saw some weird formation of lights in my hometown forming in a lambda or parallel formation I like to believe this all nonsense..
  10. When I went to Australia I noticed the government was like the USA and same with the police.. I got questioned by the police many times in Annandale, NSW for no reason because apparently there is a nightly curfew in Sydney. Then when I went to New Zealand and I noticed the government was like Canada or UK and similar police. Still love the country/people to death and I can't wait to go back too bad COVID has messed everything up there.
  11. I am guessing the part where she almost died or got pistol whipped by the Taliban was the final straw. kudos for her being so brave and reporting..
  12. Bliss that women for still reporting even in a situation like that. If she doesn’t get an award or something I’ll be damned…
  13. Sums up my viewpoint in a nutshell..
  14. The Taliban and the former have defeated the British X2, Soviets, and USA/NATO/allies what makes you all think the Afghan army even had a chance… A place that has seen decades upon decades of war and misery would have ended up being a blood bath than it is now had the army resisted it would have been many times worser than Syria or Libya or even Iraq. Unfortunately the facts of life dictate that some innocent people will die or become a victim of this conflict, but sure as hell better than it being a blood bath.
  15. I guarantee you nothing significant will happen as the Taliban have the upper hand now as they have Soviet, Russian, and American weaponry. A bunch of rebels will be crushed like the Syrian rebels. Dostum is a coward who fled like Ghani.. Hell Karzai has more bulls than him.
  16. I am pretty sure that it is like the first time in history that this has happened... especially with a large plane. Usually as we know airports and airfields/airstrips are very secure places and only the crew are allowed on the ground near take off. I am surprised the pilots kept going with so many people nearby they could have easily ran over more people.
  17. What is to hand back when it is not been formally part of Russia or been annexed? What I meant by significant is more than 50 percent Russian. If you look at the Donbas region there are more than 50 percent Russians living there. Now I don’t want to derail this thread so I will keep at that, but I hope understand where I am coming from. Russia has legitimacy in those regions but annexing is another story.. that I don’t support.
  18. Now you’re putting words in my mouth.. I never mentioned Moldova, Latvia, Estonia, Georgia etc.. as they are not known to be traditional Russian speaking regions with a significant Russian population. Was the annexation of the two regions in Ukraine against the law yes, but they have legitimate reasons to want or have those areas. I believe in the concept of self determination and to me the majority of people wanted to be part of Russia in Crimea and maybe in the future Donbas. Any other Russian incursion whether it be in Georgia or Central Asia is unjust and not legitimate. I believe Russia and other countries have the right to self determination and union of their population abroad.
  19. I believe Trumps biggest achievement in Afghanistan was he ordered the dropping of MOAB in desert..
  20. There was a stable government and then they become toppled? What don't you understand.
  21. Yes but you can't compare US conditions in Germany and Japan to a war torn country like Afghanistan. US troop casualties would have been in the 1000s had they not switched to non-combat roles and using drones/airstrikes. Like I said earlier there is a legal obligation on the part of the US to remain in Germany and Japan. They did finish what their initial goals were and that was to remove the Taliban from power, weaken Al Qaeda, and kill Osama. What has happened now is not the US fault but the former Afghan government incompetence in their army and planning. The US is in S.Korea to prevent the North from invading and using nuclear arms; also they are there to protect from Chinese aggression toward Japan and Taiwan. Comparing a war torn tribal society like Afghanistan to conditions of first world countries like German, Japan, or S.Korea is very foolish and illogical.
  22. I already stated that in my reply that the Us is obligated to be in Japan and Germany because of post ww2 treaties… They also have no danger to worry about like in Afghanistan. Goodluck convincing the US public for 75 more years..
  23. Well I guess they are the ones chuckling now because the “Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan” is real and coming to a atlas of history book near you. They even have the support of Russia and China which is more than enough.. I was get surprised how quickly Wikipedia updates things lol.
  24. Yes but how longer? Half the worlds forces was there and they made no difference in the end… I am pretty sure the USA troops in Germany and Japan just spend their times at bases not on the ground where as in Afghanistan they were susceptible to attack. The main issue is the US and allies just got lazy and lost the will to fight instead relying on drones and airstrikes. The USA has troops in Germany and Japan because of post ww2 treaties signed they are obligated to be there.
