  1. What can I say that hasn't already been said..... It's a strange thing to watch you're franchise go down the toilet in one day.... I'm afraid Benning has shown us he is not a elite level GM, Wastes a pick trying to compete with the KIngs, who by the time Virt makes the team, if he every does, will be a distant memory. We are now an irrelevant franchise, we aren't in a re-build, we're a middling irrelevant group, under the delusion we can contend,
  2. It's depressing because our management went into this draft will specific goals, None of those goals have been met. if Benning had wanted to hold his hand and draft at #6 this wouldn't be depressing at all, But to see him fail at every objective.........sad
  3. If we take that lumbering oaf........this draft will be an even bigger disaster
  4. Achieving one of his primary objectives was a crucial goal for Benning this draft, To prove to the fan base and other GM's he would be a force to be reckoned with, But in the end, he wasn't able to achieve ANY of his primary goals.... We will get someone good at #6, but it takes no managerial skill to walk up to the podium and say someone's name.
  5. We can still pull off #2!!!!!!!!! And Reinhart! C'mon Benning! Make me believe again!!!!!!!!
  6. Huge fail for Benning....... Makes a horrible deal for Kes and doesn't get enough to land Reinhart...... He has failed at every objective, he entered the draft with
  7. UGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH...............................................We'e screwed
  8. Really? Do you have to plug the Coyotes.... Whatever he's buying Benning time!!!!
  9. I don't know, Benning needs to make statement after what happened earlier today.
  10. This is it! Benning, you have a lot to make amends for......make it HAPPEN!
  11. No kidding Tallon doesn't want our pathetic return on Kes, If Tallon didn't want it, the deal shouldn't have been made.
  12. Is this the official draft thread? Doesn't seem like many people in it.
  13. Interesting, he knows it's affecting his future ability to earn and he still does it? Or maybe he subscribes to the "Any press is good press" school of thought, Then again, you wouldn't believe some of the things I did when I was younger, in a professional setting no less, Yes it does get you press, but it doesn't put dollars in your pocket, took years of damage control for me to recover, and people still bring it up. Hopefully this kid learns the difference between "Standing out from the pack" and being an "a$$hole that no one wants to deal with" quicker than I did, Because there is a big difference, P.K Subban is a good example of a guy who knows the difference.
  14. In the later rounds it's probably beneficial to take a risk on players with baggage,
  15. Oshie rumor and other like it are giving us an idea of where Trev/Benn are at, They want to win now, so that means no Kesler for picks/prospects and no full rebuild. The trouble with asking for established players is we will probably get someone younger than Kes, but not as good. If only this had happened last year, when Segin was available....
  16. This is opening my Ballard wound......I still miss him...
