  1. The Twins thrived under the original A.V system, which was the all out trapping, they will be fine under Tibbet.
  2. they also put value into winning. Tippets style is a goalies dream. There are pros and cons. Pro's, its a working effecitive system. cons = boring hockey, that being said, Tippet never had a team as deep as the current Canucks.
  3. I hope the referees are aware of what they just did. 3 people lost their jobs because of unfair officiating. Thank you you assholes. THere has to be a way NHL officials get reviewed with possibility of them losing their jobs too.
  4. but then the crazies at canucks.com will be mad at them shooting it at the goalies crest. no matter what happens the crazies at canucks.com will not be happy.
  5. and why is this? Because Mike Gillis was not able to get us a Sidney Crosby of Ovechkin calibre player? Grow a brain.
  6. I like to thank A.V for the what happened in 2007. WE came in as a weak team, potential 8th place team, that battled Dallas in what we call an on going chess match. one of the most memorable series Vancouver history. Under A.V we had our first 4 game sweep of the Blues in 2009. We also had our first presidents trophy under A.V on top of that, our first Selke winner under him. Under A.V we had a monster 2011 season, were we ran away with the Presidents trophy. first time in franchice history, we finished number 1 in goals scored best defensive team, top powerplay and almost the best penalty killing team in the leauge. We almost won the Stanley cup in 2011, we followed it up again with another Presdidents trophy. A.V is one of the best coaches to ever coach our team. Of course Patt Quinn is always the best, but he needs to be recognized for the things he's done. Jack Adams winner. A.V pretty much won everything he could..... but a Stanley cup. Whoever hires him next has got themselves a good coach. Rumors had it, that Pittsburgh wanted to hire him back in 2006. But because we needed to be compensated, Pittsburgh hired Therrien. Good luck. A.V. Friendly guy to the media.
  7. MIke Gillis did mention he will use younger players. But unlikely someone who is just 1 year out of his draft year.
  8. I'm a hockey player so its a little easier to stay motivated. I naturally like to work out and look good. Girls are naturally attracted to guys who are well groomed with a nice body. that is somewhat motivational. If not working out with a friend is actually very underrated too.
  9. http://www.beachbody.com/product/fitness_programs/body-beast-workout.do this one is the one you want that. I love this work out. for skinny guys like me after this work out, I am no longer a skinny guy.
  10. Body Beast is my new favorite work out. Today I just did Veritcal plyometrix from the insanity asylum series. But after trying so many workouts, p90x is still the best overall work on the planet.
  11. They will probably ask him to come to Vancouver to join the other prospects and have the feel of what it's like to be in the playoffs, and hopefully the finals .
  12. It's GG. Solid finish, for Gaunce. Hoping he turns out to be our Patrice Bergeron or something.
  13. He's grown on me. Much better then his first 20 games. Probably one of the better dman ufa picks last summer and including this summer, which is a weak pool of dmans this summer.
  14. Not related, but Malcolm Subban 10 goals allowed in the past 2 game??? Great goaliie but seems to be choking in important games. (World Juniors) It's pretty damn sad if you score 4 goals and still lose the game.
  15. Giving Credit were it's due. Early on he was a pylon, but since then's adapted to our system, the team, and even improved his play. He no longer has Brian Campbell to ride on, nor a player similar to him, but he's adapted, finding ways to get shots through quickly. Very nice to see. now I am hoping to see Edler turn his play around.
  16. Sorry play boy... but its not. Not even close. 6 minute game your barely breaking a sweat. 7 minutes of ice time is not ideal for developing 19 or 20 year olds.
  17. i'm not expecting him to make our team at least within the next year. Leave him in the minors and let him develop.
  18. This signing is starting to look good. Maybe was adjusting to the new linemates and new system. 4.6 million is not a bad signing for this guy, as the year he was a UFA, there were not much out there, and there will not be much out there this summer also for defencemens. This signing Jason Garrison at 4.6 is as good as it gets, considering what was out there in the summer of 2012 and 2013. He's starting to look solid for us. Hope he can continue to improve. Most dmans play their best at age 30 +
  19. watching some of the highlights, I don't even think his skating is a problem, personally I think his skating is ahead of Sedins at the same age.
  20. Many scouts also pegged Ryan kesler as maxing out as a 3rd line centerman. I was so damn pissed when Canucks picked Ryan kesler, I was like wtf is this b.s? Are you kidding me? Ryan Kesler? How bout Tambelleni or Mike Richards? another 3rd line player? (we recently drafted another safe pick in Nathan Smith at the time so I was really really pissed off) but guess what. Ryan Kesler almost notched 50 points with a busted hip. Things turned out well.
  21. http://www.bellevillebulls.com/video/index click on video's and watch Gaunce score his 3 goals. HIs 2nd goal was pavel Bure like.
  22. Brendan Gaunce is one of their top offensive players, on a defensive team, from a player who plays a solid 2 way game. He is currently 2nd in team scoring 2 points behind Camorosa but who played 8 games more and 2 years older. At 26 overall this is a steal of a pick if you ask me. Anyone thinking we should draft Subban with maybe with our 2nd pick.
