  1. Starting in the A??? If he doesn't make the roster this year, it'll be time to move onto the next shiny new toy since BB will be a bust in many people's eyes
  2. Where would he fit in? Have not seen him play. Is he a guy that could develop playing low minutes?
  3. Canucks may have signed a couple dmen today, but the door is still open for OJ come October if he's ready. Beiga should be anything but guaranteed a roster spot, and Wiercioch is anything but a mainstay in any top 4 on a cheap contract. If OJ is ready, there shouldn't be much keeping him out of London. If no trades occur, and Biega and PW are earning their roster spots, then another year in London wouldn't be a terrible thing.
  4. Neither EP or Glass were my top choices, but I'll trust JB with this one. Loads of talent and potential. I also trust Bob McKenzie more than most when it comes to prospects, and for the record he had Pettersson ahead of Glass. Just saying. Bobby Mac had him at 7, so getting him at 5 is not a huge stretch and not as much off the board as many here would have you believe. Considering how a lot of the picks went, getting EP at 5 was a lot closer to his ranking than many others in the first few rounds.
  5. If he turns into a 3rd liner that can put the puck into the net then I am happy. Been awhile since we've had any bottom 6 scoring
  6. I agree, I'm just saying there's at least a couple years for Subban to establish himself before he's either traded or pushed farther down the depth chart and his shot at making it is over. As much as I would love to see him make it, I've got the feeling he's got to force his way into a few games this year or he may be forgotten. I'm not one to say he can't make it, but with other guys like Brisebois, Pedan, Holm, even Cederholm (I know they all have different styles and skillets), that there is going to be a larger pool of players to be calling up. Can't forget about OJ and Mceneny.
  7. How so? Boner going back to prep school this year and then to Harvard. That's 2 years minimum before he even gets a shot in Utica.
  8. If he was 4 inches taller, would have been chosen last year.
  9. Sounds like the kid has some high end skill. Nice to see the Canucks take a flyer with a late pick on a highly skilled, yet undersized player. Too many times we pass on these guys for too much "meat and potatoes". If these late picks have such a low chance on making it, I'd rather have a long shot/high reward guy. If there's such a small chance of these guys making, just swing away and go for the home run. Like this pick very much.
  10. Jack Rathbone......I wonder what he's called in the locker room
  11. When does THN Future Watch 2018 come out? Can't wait to read it
  12. Dipietro....please don't sign him to a 13 year contract!!!!
  13. JB not picking guys on the top of my list, but what the heck do I know? Nothing, lol. Still liking what I'm seeing.
  14. Lodnia at 64, Safin 95...then we're loaded with skill in the pipeline.
  15. Where does Safin go? High risk, high reward. Would he last to 94?
