Ferland has a long way back to playing so my guess is he sits to start. He's only played a handful of games and probably needs a lot more conditioning than some of the others. But if they advance or we need some toughness inserted we'll see him against Minny.

:picard: doubt he ever plays again. When you can reagrevate a concussion just from skating, it’s not a good sign.

Minnesota are one if not the best defensive team in the league.   They have received well below average goal tending.  Canucks are one of the worst defensive teams in the league but are saved by stellar goaltending.  Thomas Drance was telling Russo again today: "The Canucks are potent offensively with bad defense and stellar goaltending."

Numbers agree with him - whether video tracking, heat maps or more traditional advanced stats.  Goaltending is going to make a huge difference.  Markstrom is in Sweden and rinks are open there.

I'm honestly not sure why anyone even goes into a store, for groceries anyway.  Order online and curbside pickup or delivery

The only things you can get delivered here are Booze and Pizza. The cab company has even been closed since corona has closed everything.

How far north are you talking about?

I've stood in line for both Canadian Tire and Wal-Mart.....

Only about 8 hours north of Vancouver... so central really... geographically.

But the Canadian tire and the Walmart both had the single store highest sales in my town for all of Canada for the month of April . In fact, my buddy’s wife manages the Canadian tire in town and said April was their best month in 25 years of being open.

    Sad to hear it.

I ONLY shop at places with measures in place...to me, it shows they care about their customers.  It feels like a safer environment to me.

Shoppers is another that seems to miss the mark.  For one, some stocking shelves really ignore social distancing and they're constantly blocking the aisles with their stock carts.  I know they have a job to do.....but there has to be some consideration of those wanting to keep their distance.

Yup. That’s what I hate. I personally don’t believe the virus is as bad as what they’re trying to convince us it is. But I try to social distance to respect those that do.

I’ve noticed that the Safeway in my city has done very well at putting measures in place. The 3 I previously mentioned are horrendous up here.

Thing is, Canadian Tire lines people up outside and restricts the numbers inside.  Save On too.

So it's not just a free for all and unlimited numbers.  Not sure about Walmart...not willing to test it out.  Have had to do Save On once...lined up for 15 minutes to get in.

It's about spacing/social distance and not jamming people in to capacity (that doesn't allow for that).

Maybe down south... up north it’s a free for all :(

Yet BC's chief provincial health officer, premier, and minister of education believe it's PERFECTLY safe to send hundreds of thousands of kids to school in large gatherings and will not provide PPE to either staff or students.  Seems legit:unsure:

The conflicting messages we are hearing are actually so concerning it's comical:

Wear a mask - but not at school, you're safe.

Wash your hands often - but not at school because there's no infrastructure in place at most schools that can support 200 kids/adults trying to do that all day.

Keep personal bubbles to as few people as possible - but send your kids to school, it's safe.

Social distance, but not at school, it's safe.

All sporting events, religious gatherings, conferences, or similar events are cancelled - but not school, it's safe.

Don’t congregate in large numbers..... unless you go to Walmart, Canadian tire or save on.... those places are immune to it.

Sorry, where did I say anything about the UCP or GOP?

The fact is, your argument is stupid because like the right you're creating BS because you can't accept that you look stupid and cannot accept the facts over the rhetoric.

But, that's your schtick and we get it.

Conservatives.  Too stupid to know that communism and socialism are different but smart enough to ignore debating that fact

If you identify as any type of political party loyalist, you’re stupid    There’s probably people who still believe voting makes a difference beyond the municipal level

and Boomer.... you don’t have to be so sensitive... I’ve never once complained about my taxes subsidizing your lifestyle.

    Incorrect.

It's as long as the party wants him.

He’ll probably win another majority in the fall here. And not be satisfied until every last good paying job is gone. Let the Hyper-inflation begin :gocan:. I’m beyond caring at this point if he collapses Canada economically, just to try to SucKhole to the UN.

Hmmm...you have a lot of posts in Alberta threads..

He secretly loves it there, needs that equalization. All those coastal people are gonna be sad when the rest of Canada can’t sponge off of Alberta or northern BC. It won’t be so easy for them to live in those coastal regions when things get economically hard. No more prancing around on beaches and making postcards for a living :lol::lol:

    Uh huh

So is it communist or socialist

You kinda need to pick a side

And posting 4 opinion columns, an opinion piece from CNN and a wikipedia write up are not in fact supportive of your statements.

You look childish with your baseless oft disproven rants.  Attempting to re-write history based on the whining of those on the right who refused to accept the truth for what it was only makes you look immature.

Lol you think I believe In the right???? Where did I stick up for the UCP or the Republicans  the left is so sensitive and always whines. If you criticize their little fruity leaders or party they attack the right.  And liberals hate facts that go against them.

    Trump is bad though eh?

Lol that’s the generic liberal offends us to start mentioning him. I don’t really gaF about him or Scheer, Harper  or any of them really.

I just cant see how people can blindly and passionately defend the Idiot we have in run(ruin)ning our country. He’s an international embarrassment and Hellbent on turning Canada into a 3rd world country.

But I guess non of these communists know an honest day’s work. All the white collars out there, who lap up every socialist  benefit JT hands them.

Nothing illegal with the gun ban.  Other aspects of the plan will require legislation.   If your charge is true, then those parts of the plan would have been put in place now.

Ya, he didn't try to give himself power.  The party tried to give Morneau power based on a threat of non confidence by some back benchers who would rather call a snap election instead of helping people through this Covid issue.  It's all written out pretty plainly.

Why wasn’t it presented pretty plainly then? Why did they try to sneak it into a bill? Rather than asking all parties for an emergency exception openly?.
