  1. Glad it wasn't captured on film, if I recall correctly, this I'd the second incident like this at Turner field in recent memory(last 3-5 years)
  2. Lord, help us if Gibbons is getting lineup advice from the CDC. Although I could see Beane doing it to try something unconventional.
  3. There's a change in the batting order today.... Revere leads off, Tulo batting in the 5-spot.
  4. I think we should keep him. Patience. He's got very good movement on the fastball. He can also paint the corners when he's dialed in. The movement I saw today in his heater reminded me of Doc when he was young. If Hutch doesn't have consistency by the middle of the season when he's 26 or 27, I'd say trade him. Basically give him another season and a half. Keep him as a 4-5 guy in the rotation.
  5. Usually 2nd time through the order they have the pitcher figured out...I expect big 3/4th innings
  6. Had their opportunities. Can't complain...even if it doesn't pan out today, they've had a great road trip.
  7. True, but they've worked his pitch count really well. Remember this jays team only needs one inning.
  8. I couldn't have said it better myself, I think you make that exception for a Price or Donaldson or both... These guys make your team a contender and they are guys that other good players want to play with.
  9. I think the Jays can. Having Donaldson, Tulo, Bautista, Martin & Encarnacion goes a long way in supporting him with great Offense and Defense, giving him a great chance to win. I think it will cost the jays 22-28/year over 6-8 years & I think that will be the big question.
  10. I don't think so. I think if the jays make at least the alcs, they'll have a good shot, if the win the WS, Price may want to stay...cuz it will give him a long, good numbers career that will be a threat for a couple years.
  11. Lol that's equivelant to a started having 2 complete game shutouts in a row. I think somebody is stuck in April.
  12. Yeah no doubt. I'd imagine it's really cleaned up from what it used to be, but I'd imagine there's players still trying to gain any edge that they can.
  13. Yeah I was just reading an article about MVP candidates and I was like holy mofo...that dude is juicing.
  14. I'm not really sure but are steroids legal in baseball? I'm not necessarily saying anything....but I don't think Trout ever skips neck-day in the gym.
  15. No, the pitcher is only responsible for who gets on base against him.
  16. Yup, shouldn't even be close with the worst team in the majors... Need the bats to wake up.
  17. F'n knuckleballers, it's either hit or miss... We better get the bats going.
