  1. Wow I was just looking for shits and giggles. Romero and Drabek sure fell off...wonder if either will ever make the majors again as they both are struggling in the minors.
  2. He won't play here 1) he wants to win a cup 2) amount of travel out west leads to quicker declines 3) to much respect for the flames to play for a rival
  3. I wanna hear it in 5 years when Ehlers has yet to play a full season in the nhl
  4. I'm so glad we didn't pick nik "guaranteed bust" Ehlers with the 6th
  5. Coffey was drafted what? 40 years ago??? How is that even relevant. In 94 Jovanovski was drafted 1st overall, smyth was 6th. In 91 Lindros was drafted 1st overall, Forsberg was 6th. I would almost think both of those are even, hell maybe I'd say forsberg was the better player. But the nhl has changed in the last 10-15 years, so I'd say anything before 04 is or irrelevant anyways.
  6. He could be Jagr, but then again he could be pavel Brendl, nothing's guaranteed.
  7. Minuscule chance= he gets in car crash the next 3 or 4 days and suffers permanent damage. Reinhart does not make it passed 3rd or 4th. I could see Bennett sliding to 6th as a result of his "performance" at the combine
  8. Well we could have gone Johnny checking fwd- bob shutdown center- frank 2nd/3rd line winger Darcy tough guy- Daryl gritty face off/PK specialist- someone better than Archibald To rd out the bottom 6. Top 6 looked plausible.
  9. There you have it ladies and gentlemen, the first team in nhl history to have all their prospects pan out.
  10. I don't even know why this is a discussion. Kid aint a Benning type of player.
  11. Exactly. Nothing wrong with Jake, those are very good #s for the Dub. It's the closest comparable jr league to the NHL and it's said that it's the toughest jr league in the world to play in. Ehlers couldn't survive there and if he did, many would see a parallel comparison to Gilbert Brule.
  12. not if it means flipping, the 6th+24th + roster player for the #1 Then we draft Reinhart at 1 and Deangelo at 10th
  13. Whoa, only really mining and oil and gas guys make 46-68/hr. The money comes from working men's hours. 200+ every 2 weeks or 12-16 hour shifts. That being said, I won't get out of bed for less than $35/hr.
  14. If you have any questions feel free to PM, it's a great trade, tons of opportunity.
  15. I don't think you have to worry, pretty much all guys that become top6 and/or impact players have played a full season in the show by the time of 22. Schroeder is a stretch to be a regular nhler. If our management thinks of Schroeder as being a 2nd line center they should not be in management anywhere in hockey.
  16. I made it first year after being certified. Kinda like the first year after I graduated I guess.
  17. Lol 60 grand a year.... Hurtin!!! Should be making that in 6 months.
  18. Perfect. Hansen+6th overall+ 2nd 2014 or 2015 for the 1st overall this year
  19. Those rosters go against everything Benning said in his press conference. Look for the bottom 2 lines or at least the 4th line to be tough, but kinda playable.
  20. To all the r-tards who don't know shit about our military and the good women/men protecting our rights, our special forces are called JTF2. Not ATF....
  21. I would go Reinhart for 6th+Jensen+2015 2nd. Everything except for Horvat and Shink, should be available. You don't pass on a chance for the next Stamkos/Tavares.
  22. Does she have a younger sister willing to move 10 hours north?
  23. Yup, defenseman that are responsible for a goal against/game in their prime are had to come by these days...they don't just grow on trees.
