    I used to try and surf other fan forums and not one can compete with CDC. That’s why we are what we are as a fan base. We are starving for a winner and most of us think, talk and post about it non-stop. Whereas fans of the Olers and Flames only fill up their boards when they are winning and could care less when they are bottom feeders.

    Is that Milan Dragecivic’s son? I remember he was the first coach of the Giants. I knew all the original G-men. I remember a kid named Joshua Jackson I had some drinks with and he started rapping freestyle and told me he’s gonna quit hockey and be a Rap star. I never knew where he went or what happened to him.

    Wouldn’t it be something else if we end up 11th worst and win the lottery? And the Isle’s go deep and give the Wings the 28th pick. And then PA trades Bedard for the Hughes brothers. Would the fan base lose it and (ahem) start another riot ?

    No sh1t. Go root for another team then. Yeah we lose out on another generational talent but so will 31 other teams. Let’s just finish strong and hope for the best.

    Win or lose. People just have to complain. Even if we end up bottom 3, I would bet my last dollar, we drop 2 spots and a team like the Flyers or Yotes will end up 1 and 2. Let’s just enjoy what’s happening now and hope the management can find some cap relief and have some young players step up (Kravtsov and Podz) and be solid contributors at the top level.

    Kuz will hit 40 next season and 50 in his contract.

    Love the guy but to pay a core piece that much who has got us two playoffs in 8 seasons and bottom 10 or worse in every other season is a solid NO for me. Glad we got something in return for him.

    And we mocked the Oilers for all their changes behind the bench since their run to the finals in 06. Let’s just hope we get a game changer at the draft this June or we may be in the same place for the next few years.

    So my son surprises me with a late Xmas present. So funny that this was the exact and only jersey I was going to buy before the end of the year. After the crap year I had, this gives me hope after all. I have no words other than thank you son and I love you.
