  1. String bean to BEAST. Probably better than Kaep at least.
  2. Gah. Don't take the bum knee Hawks. Also:
  3. It's pathetic that people would do that to Tunsil when, aside from the weed stuff, most of the aftermath will have nothing to do with him. Also, how stupid are these coaches and so-called college kids to be texting this type of stuff. That leaves a record of your stupidity! Doesn't anybody know how to be careful? Idiots.
  4. I thought they were trading that pick to NE
  5. +1 tomorrow, apparently I'm out again. I demand a recount. ----------------- Speed! Speed! Speed! Use your speed to run far away from Cleveland!
  6. Still didn't break Marino's draft drop. He's probably peeing in cup backstage though.
  7. Let's make a wager. If he's drafted in the 1st round Canucks win a Cup before the Sabres. If he doesn't, vice versa.
  8. I love weed, but it isn't heroin. If I had to quit to play in the NFL it would easy, and a no-brainer
  9. One time thing. He learned the hard way if true and now he's got something to prove.
  10. Because doobies. I'll live with that no problem. No problem.
  11. If he wants to fall all the way to 26 that's fine with me. Rather pick someone dynamic to go alongside Lockett, a CB or LB though.
  12. My presumption only. And an incorrect one at that. Bears are kind of like the Cowboys though, they need to draft most of a roster with their picks.
  13. "Cleveland has the most picks, we don't know if they'll ever pick they keep moving back"
  14. Gruden: "This is a guy you can use on gameday!" Well duh. 3rd overall I'd hope so.
  15. Holy crap. I just peeked at the NFL website and saw a "What are they wearing to the draft" type article, and now some of these guys are getting introduced like debutantes? What the hell? Or did I miss something?
  16. TSN1 for me, so ESPN I guess. It's an absurdly long process, especially for a player who thought he'd go top 5 or 10 and drops, and drops, and drops. I'll be surfing hard between the Draft and the Caps.
  17. I'll have the Alberta beef striploin, and an Albino Rhino.

Really? I like the P49 wheat ale, I think it's called jerk face. I also like red truck's lager...not the most unique or exciting beer but it's good nonetheless.

I mentioned it in the beer thread but recently I had persephone's pale and golden ales and thought they were both very good, particularly the pale ale.

Yeah. I judge a brewery on their pale ale or IPA. Don't like theirs, and don't like all the foo-foo stuff like Seed-Spitter, and beers that are flat out awful like Ruby Ale, so they don't get my business.

If they improve I'll give them another chance, but I see them as making beer that is trendy or marketable instead of just making a good beer and letting the rest take care of itself.

Persephone is actually up for another go. I had it middle last year and thought meh, but breweries are tweaking (or should be willing to tweak) just like a home brewer.

Cat 12 has a pretty balanced pale ale. If you like a good pilsner Moon Under Water makes a great one fairly consistently.

When it comes to ales though it's all about Fat Tug for me. Fat Tug, Fat Tug, Fat Tug.

      Fat Tug.

I really enjoyed Persphone and I'll definitely be buying it again in the future. I can't say I've tried any other p49 beers but I'm not so inclined to now.

I'll drink just about any beer but I'm not a fan of ipa's. The Bowen island IPA won awards but I thought it tasted like tree bark myself. Generally I don't like overly bitter beers, but that's where I enjoyed the Persphone PA- it was bitter but still delicious.

and thanks for those recommendations, I'll be sure to try them.

  18. Rogers knows all about binding contracts already, it appears they just don't want to be on the receiving end of one. 217 mil for a regular season ace might be worth it for just that, but 2-7 post season isn't worth beans.
