Yes the PP has been atrocious. We could still be winning games though if our top line was playing like a top line. Off topic though, I'm not wanting to start calling the Sedins out because they aren't the only ones having an off year. It was just a comment in response to a "what if" that Darius71 posed.
Fair enough, I skimmed a lot of the pages as this thread loaded up pretty quicky, I missed any of those posts discussing more than Edler and Kesler.
To answer your question: yes. I think if we don't get the perfect price for Kesler he won't be moved at the deadline, and if he is moved regardless, bust. Cue hate on for Gillis losing a great player the franchise developed for less than market value.
If any of the reports are true mind you, and 20 teams have been phoning MG, several of them with serious intent who are Cup contenders, then the price isn't something we should be worried too much about. Hopefully Gillis knows how to manage a potential bidding war without becoming flustered and hasty over the next few days.
