  1. Why would he put Juolevi in? That's a reaction to a problem that doesn't exist. Our problem wasn't in front of the net, it was our top 6 not getting quality chances.
  2. Whether Game 2 follows the same script as Game 1 or not, I love this team and will be less judgemental as I was on Sunday. After all, we can all agree that it wasn't effort that hurt us. It's clear our boys care. Let's see what Tuesday brings. Hey, hey... hey, Minnesota... you're not as good as you think you are; we're coming.
  3. Petterson absolutely battled. He took $&!# all night and kept going back for more like Daniel or Henrik.
  4. This reminds me of the Torts interview when media questioned his system and he said, "you know what, after the season is over we'll go for burgers and beers and talk all about the system".
  5. I respect the game Minny played and can handle losses, just don't have much respect for the way we lost tonight. The only positive was that we came out skating really hard. Minny just outworked and outmuscled for the night.
  6. Plenty of stupid tonight. Glad we got it all out of our system and can play sharp as $&!# next game.
  7. Ferland's penalty was extra stupid, and is the kind of thing that coukd have hurt us were we closer to making a game of it (even though we came out of it 4 on 4). I thought Pearson's slash call against him in the 3rd was a weak call, can't remember his 1st penalty.
  8. I know a lot of people, myself included, are being hard on the team tonight, and while it's not unwarranted, this is only the 1st meaningful game in 5 months. I know every team is in the same boat, but I'm willing to chalk this up to needing time to get back into the swing of things. Problem is we don't have any of it to waste. All the pregame talk of having great practices and being ready to go sounded nice, but I'd like to see a lot of improvement come Tuesday.
  9. I would not be able to handle watching our team play this calibre of hockey called by Randorf.
  10. They did call a late crosscheck that gave us our PP, they just called it interference.
  11. I thought the 3rd period slash on Pearson was pretty weak, and as far as missed calls I think it was Miller that got hooked to the ice for no call abouy 10 mins into the 1st, and the Boeser trip didn't feel like a penalty cause the puck was played prior to him tripping. That's all that comes to mind off the top of my head.
  12. Virt better be in for game 2 cause we need another motivated body to crash and bang these Minny doofuses.
  13. Our o-zone play was pure trash tonight. Partly cause Minny played like they had 8 skaters on the ice all night, and partly cause we passed like total trash all game. Our speed is our best asset, and were neutered right out of the &^@#ing gate due to sloppy play in front of a ready opponent.
  14. &^@# my life. Nucks were sloppy as hell and couldn't do anything with Minny's stifling defence all damn night. Frustrating, and if we can't make tape to tape passes this'll be a 3 game series.
  15. Cause it tech is playoffs. These games count toward playoff stats, and the Cip winning goalie will record 19 wins for this post season.
  16. End of day has diff meanings for shift workers. But point taken.
  17. Eh, I'm on shiftwork brother. Can't commit to whatever schedule you guys all have cause I'd miss too many gatherings.
  18. You know what the most messed up part of Breaking Bad is? The number of people who wear snow jackets and toques in the &^@#ing desert.

15- 20C in the desert in winter is common.  That is freaking cold to people that live there.

That is jeans and ski jacket weather....

      Meth heads.

Meth heads wear snow gear in the desert.

King, that's the only full-sun acceptable answer. When I got back from 4 months in 35 - 40 C weather in early August it was a 19 C evening. I was freezing and had to wear a hoodie.

Thing is though, I got used to these extremes pretty quick. Maybe locals don't.

      I still find it weird.
