  1. If people want to watch something pandemic related I recommend season 1 of The Strain. I binged it over red wine and spaghetti. 8/10
  2. Any team winning the Stanley Cup with less than 16 wins is a &^@#ing fraud.

    End of story.

End the current season, play playoffs, shorten next season to 72 games.

I think all options are on the table.

      I'm still thinking:

      August: Revised training camp/practices

      September finish the season.

      October/November Playoffs.

      December-Mid January: 6 weeks off

Mid January to April 1/2 season for 2021. 40 games, In conference games only.

      Regular Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Bettman confirmed shortening next season was entirely off the table in his press conference or media release.

This isn't the 80's anymore, nor isnit original 6. No need to revert back. Either play all of the playoffs, or cancel them.

  3. Great game Quinn and JT!

  4. Primary transfer is respiratory droplets. Vapour. Typical lung vapour is heavier than air so it falls to the ground before reaching 6 ft of distance. This is why cafes and such in Italy have been papering over every 2nd of their tables; it mimics 6 ft of seperation. Dickbags who cough or sneeze may project a bit farther, but it is society's duty to kick their groins into observing what we would call "good manners". Is it airborne? It always has been, but it doesn't float around freely like dust or pollen, it's attached to vapour expelled from lungs.
  5. If the NHL shut down for the season, what happens to our draft pick?

I was going to comment but I don’t want to interrupt.

I can't say for sure, because I dont know.

But you'd think if they suspend play for a few weeks, it's business as usual at the draft.

However if they end the entire season and post season, I assume they'd just go with current standings for the draft lotto. Seems the most reasonable course of action IMO.

There's also the possibility that the repercussion of a 2 or 3 week suspension is - no make up games - and they just head into he playoffs in their current seeding.

Right when Hughes was gonna go top 3 all time assists as a rookie defenseman....

      Maybe let us choose?

  6. It's all good. Besides, what matters is where we're at after 84, not tonight.
  7. We're behind Nashville since they have 1 more RW (regulation win)
  8. And just like that we're back in the 2nd Wild Card spot behind Nashville. What a massive 2 points this was.
  9. Totally not worried about the dude, he was just launched into a tough situation. Bad goals were expected, but overall he has been fine, and tonight he was excellent when he needed to be.
  10. I just re-watched Tommy Boy the other day. Farley was such a beauty.
  11. Every single game I think to myself, "JT Miller is a Vancouver Canuck..." Dude is excellent.
