  1. 9th overall pics over the years Career highs: #9 Trevor Zegras 3 goals, 13 points #9 Vitali Kravtsov 2 goals, 4 points #9 Michael Rasmussen 8 goals, 18 points #9 Mikhael Sergachev 10 goals 40 points #9 Timo Meier 30 goals, 66 points #9 Nikolaj Ehlers 29 goals, 66 points #9 Bo Harvat 27 goals, 61 points #9 Jacob Trouba 10 goals, 50 points #9 Dougie Hamilton 18 goals, 50 points #9 Mikael Granlund 26 goals, 69 points #9 Jared Cowan 5 goals, 17 points #9 Josh Bailey 18 goals, 71 points #9 Logan Couture 32 goals, 70 points #9 James Sheppard 5 goals, 24 points #9 Brian Lee 2 goals, 13 points #9 Ladislav Smid 5 goals, 13 points #9 Dion Phaneuf 17 goals, 60 points #9 Peter Taticek 0 goals, 0 points #9 Tuomo Ruuttu 26 goals, 57 points #9 Brent Krahn (goalie) 1 NHL game. Some good some bad but getting a reinhart for a 9th is most definitely worth it if offered. hes right there with all the rest of the good players drafted at 9. we also have to wonder what miller and horvat are thinking. Both guys wanna win but do they really want to wait for our 9th pick to be able to play with them? When both contracts are up in 2 years does miller and horvat think “well they are going more towards building threw the draft than winning right now” would they even wanna sign here again? Do we wanna win now or wait till petey is 27-28 and hope our draft pics are ready to contribute.
  2. Maybe aqualini deposits 5 mill each to a secret switz bank account that nobody knows about that both petey and quinn can have access to.
  3. Nolan might be worth the risk but so was ferland. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt. Personally i say no. I do find that filling that 3C position is the most important this offseason but a injury prone guy like nolan umm let someone else roll the dice on him. jim needs to nail the 3C position this offseason because its not gonna be our 1st rnd pick so he needs to figure it out. Do whatever it takes but its very important that its the right guy.
  4. I think its best to keep holtby till trade deadline. Personally think mikey will need about half a season to be ready for the show and probably could get a second rounder for holtby at the TDL.
  5. To me getting a player we can slot right in that is only 24 is the right thing to do even if it’s expensive like a top 10 pick. Is it better waiting for that player in 3-4 years or one now that can join miller and horvat while both are still in their prime years or ready when both are in their 30s? If cernak is untouchable at least we tried if you ask me but hes worth it imo.
  6. I actually was a big loui fan when he played in dallas. He was really good there tbh
  7. I think he meant jims loyalty to loui. Jim thought loui still was good….he wasnt
  8. Its almost like you’re making it out that im impatient or sumtin.
  9. Yeah he wouldnt waive just saying its the only way to get both risto and rhino. So really zero chance getting risto
  10. More talking about sending schmidt and erikkson and 9OA for rhino and rito. I think this is the only way we can do the trade unless we send a prospect or something
  11. Personally i think Schmidt is the key to our defense next season. If he can have a real good season and prove to be a top 2 dman for us that would be huge for us. If he actually can play like a 6 mill dollar dman JB will look like a genius lol
  12. Well he does get points. Having rito for 1 year at 5.4 or schmidt for 5.95 for 4 more years i can see why we would wanna give it a shot
  13. Nice thing would be to see how well he plays with us and if its not good no biggie we open up 5.4 and get a bigger fish in UFA
  14. With a sprinkle of andrew alberts on top.
  15. Not unless they take loui and either holtby or schmidt off our hands.
