    Don't want to derail too much... Join the IBEW and get to Kitimat LNG Canada, there's fly in and out from the island. Two weeks in one off isn't that bad and you will be pulling 130 a year.

    I would do that. Maybe a bit lopsided against us but when I look at other proposals on other forums it's always a fleecing to their own team. You got to give to get. Look at what Florida gave up for one player and how it's worked out

    Kind of a secondary side note - as a guy who hates the Flames, I hope Huberdeau is watching this and contemplating his next eight years of misery as his former team advances

    I sorta want Calgary to make the playoffs so when they fall it hurts so much more, but nothing would be more soul nourishing than for them to look back and mark this loss from Vancouver as being the soul crushing knockout punch to them missing the playoffs and enjoying the years to come of being an old washed out slow hot mess of a team

    I got zero hard evidence to back this up but it feels like Vancouver is in the midst of a Buffalo style trajectory from when either team went to the cup finals. Buffalo is further along, which means we have years more of this garbage

    I'm all for getting a top five pick this year but anytime we beat the Flames and add more disappointment to their crappy year, I would call this a huge win. Heck, I'm still laughing at how Edmonton crushed them so easily

    Interesting. I wonder where they get it from. Guessing with the high cost of diesel and transporting it through the winter road mountains the cost would be a bit higher?

    Just wait for Huberdeau and Weegar to check out the Dome from the early eighties and the "state of the art facilities" at minus 20 degree weather and decide weather they want to re up with the Flames after being in Florida for multiple years...They would be silly to sign long term before that
