At least Tocchet and Allvin are not seeing any mirage in these "audition" games. We are so far away from being competitive even against middle-of-the-pack teams and just trading a couple of players in the offseason won't change that.
It's actually a blessing in disguise we're losing all these games.
Really, the only guy we have who can play strong along the boards and win puck battles is Miller. All the other guys simply get bodied out or pushed off the puck so easily.
Like I said, they don't move much on PP and then completely stop moving when they're on 2-men advantage.
They should have kept playing the puck on the 1st pp.
Unfortunately no matter how well Boeser plays over the next 6 games, we need to unload several wingers in the offseason. I'm happy for Boeser as he seems to be finding his game, but his $6M cap hit just can't stay.
