This series would have been much more interesting if Boston was still playing, or Vegas actually swept Dallas. Panthers lost all the momentum and forgot how they came this far during the extended break.

If Vegas wins the series Bettman and Dale Tallon should be on the ice with them, lifting the cup and shaking hands with each other. Mission accomplished.

It's just another form of entertainment prize for them. Some addicts on the strip might steal the cup and sell it for $5 and nobody will bat an eye.

Me since 2017 and counting. The city is okay for vacations but the team itself was gifted by the league and bought, not built, by the owner to win. NHL made a joke out of themselves with bending the expansion draft rules to an unprecedented level, for the hefty expansion fee Vegas paid. A team that's made more of mercenaries than misfits.

I hope so too, but it won't unless Dallas shows they can win an OT game. So far they've been starting overtimes with regular-season intensity and got finished quickly.

Which is exactly why. Very few teams can win more board battles than losing against Vegas. Your best chance is keeping the puck in the middle as much as possible, move your feet and forechecking relentlessly like the Panthers.

Dallas should keep the puck away from the boards. Vegas own the board plays and you're falling right into their trap if you keep trying to move the puck along the boards.
