    Victor Olofsson is out 4-6 weeks with injury. Likely turns the calder into a two horse race between Hughes and Makar. We're in for a wild finish.

      I know everyone loves Makar's offence, but Hughes is pretty clearly the better d-man and is pulling more weight on his team. That probably won't matter but Hughes is the more complete player.

      Unless Hughes heats up in a big way it'll probably be Makar. They're pretty damn close but I could see Makar being the sexier pick playing with Mac and all that. 

       

      If Hughes makes the all-star team that might sway things a bit.

      According to reddit the fanbases of the Flyers, Leafs and Blues are all voting Hughes. I'd be shocked if he didn't get in.
