So very happy & proud to be wearin’ my Edler jersey tonight! He gave his all, stitched-up, blocking shots, & his decision making was spot on tonight! Eddie wants this run to be the one that gets it done! How many more ops will he have? Do it for the Eagle! Congrats to the lads for advancing to Round 2. They may not be able to hear it,..but I’m cheering my voice raw! Go Canucks Go!

Schenn & Perron are villainour, too. But never-more should we condone the Mark-Messier-leadership-enabled examples of dirty pool, like head-shots, breaking limbs, or carving-up faces. The key word there, if you didn’t already notice is ‘enabled’. (Mixed messaging over Messier’s leadership virtues is one of the leagues biggest hypocracies) O-6’s the Canucks are not & no grace would ever be extended. Besides, progressive hockey-fans here in VanCity, around the league & the world...have evolved beyond that.

How is it that teams cannot ‘black ball’ or “veto” the deployment of at least one or two referees from doing their games in the play-offs? Canucks would likely choose Sutherland, O’Halloran and/or O’Rourke. And if several teams request to ‘veto’ or ‘black ball’ the same referees....these usual suspects should NOT work the play-offs. Sutherland seems to disgrace himself almost as much as the infamous Auger, when it comes bias, vindictiveness, ineptitude &/or carry over justice.

One clearly sees differing levels of maturity between Jake and some of his other young teammates, whether he’s in the bubble...or out of it. He hasn’t fully arrived yet, has he? When will that happen? Who knows, but if it ain’t now,...will the wait be worth it? Jake’s got attributes that can’t be taught, but does will he ever develop the necessary instincts to play the game in harmony with those who ‘think’ the game at an elite level, with any consistency? He dwells in that “redeem yourself” category far too often. Collectively say a prayer for our team’s wild card, if he’s returned to the line-up.
