I still think this is just logical posturing for a suspension to Kane. I bet they know nothing - other than Kadri will not return tonight, but more serious & gloomy faces will sell the fact that more punishment to Kane is required. This helps them in the series, & could take the edge out of Kane’s game tonight & possibly beyond.

For this series anyway. Having confidence in both goalies going into the SCup Final, is a huge plus. Hoping that Kuemper self-reports his symptoms, in all honesty. That he pulled himself previously, appears to bode well for that. ^Proving his fitness to play to himself & to his teammates, in any & all practice situations before his return will be paramount tho.

Easy to cheer for Francouz! A steady, stand-up, level-headed, no-nonsense goalie. Dramatics, embellishments and/or cage-rattling will not be his issues.

It’s a ploy to get Kane suspended for a game, and it may work, especially if they lose. If the Avs win - no harm & Kadri gets some extra rest & healing for anything else that may be ailing him, in time for Game 4.

Gambling that they can get Kane suspended for at least one game, in time for the next one.

Avs are just warming up! Now their locker room discussion is whether to sit Kadri (in hopes of a suspension to Kane) & perhaps gaining another leg-up in the series,..or play him. With the 2-0 lead already, the Avalanche will keep Kadri out for the remainder of this game & expect Kane to be suspended for a minimum of 1 (possibly 2) play-off game(s) by the DPS. Good luck with that! No, I reaaaaallly mean good luck with that,…as I hope it happens.

Call a high-sticking, holding, hooking, interference, or cross-check/mugging infraction now & then, will ya…or the cheaters prosper. I don’t admire every player on the Avs - but I’m personally rooting for Francouz to stone-wall even the ‘greasiest’ of these Soilers.
