  1. Canucks looking a little more tense at the bench - as if feeling that puck-luck may not be with ‘em. Shake-it-off. Bear-down & score the next one, fellas! It’s coming!!!
  2. All that zone time & barely any shots. Hit the net, Blue! More goals, are likely required.
  3. “Sutherland” special - he’s got one hand in his pocket & the other likely giving the finger to the Canucks bench.
  4. Yah, that 15-30 sec time delay of the TV feed gives Vintage the early jump in signalling goals! A great perk for all of us CDCers!
  5. I know. They’re doing simple time wasting right now. Cue the shoot out! ‘Lames lost & offered this market absolutely no help again - right?
  6. Keep the reports coming. These Sportnetters are keeping us all in the dark. Gheeeez.
  7. Hmmm. The Canucks were out shot 14 - 9 during that period. As a stat - it hardly seems accurate, but if so, their transition game needs tightening up. I sensed the D were struggling & the forwards were launching early but not all back-tracking as quickly as they could or maybe should.
  8. Hamonic as a D-man digging away at our goalie - WTF! Do ya think he’s bitter about the good-bye reportings? We’re just as bitter - pal!
  9. BB-6 as the triggerman has his in-game radar working! I’m breathing easier already! Full court press now ‘Nucks - score some more!
  10. Boarding or roughing! PP coming up. Hope they can be as efficient as they were on their last turn out there! EP40 for 30 pleazzzze!
  11. Halak passed that test! Thumbs-up! Just hope that he can smother rebounds as well as Demmer. Face-off battles we’ll need to watch closely.
  12. Canucks D is lookin’ a little looser, tonight. Tighten-up & be sharp back there, Blue! By contrast, our shooters are gettin’ zone time & lookin’ eager to snipe. Prayin’ that they can hit their marks as easily as Miller did on that last PP. Go Canucks Go!
  13. But, is he here, body & spirit along with the rest of ‘em…or just resting & recovering at his home and/or elsewhere? Enquiring minds want to know…as supporting your ‘mates in this drive is still a bonding thing. ^Hope he’s still able to be apart of this!
  14. My anticipation for this game is through the roof! I’m wearing Canucks swag all day, and will be layering up some more before game-time! Investing even more time & energy into the cause, now. The guys are making sacrifices as professionals to get these big Ws for us, so the least we can do is up our game as fans in solidarity with that! Break-out the terrible towels early, add a few more bells & whistles, & cancel whatever else ya got going on this evening to tune in, tonight! Keep the heart-beat of this team’s run towards the post-season party strong! Go Canucks Go!
  15. ^This! I still think Stecher was something special. Tho’ smaller for a defenceman he continues to improve in this league & has bags of the intangibles to give to his teams. Just ask World Championship Team-Canada how they feel about him & his heroics when it mattered most. Team chemistry is elusive, so when it has clearly been found blowing it up - is a very sad thing. Benning’s hatchet job (however forced by the pressures of operating in Canada during Covid-times) was almost like re-seeing the organization’s heartless dismantling of the Linden-era team less than 24 months after their legendary SCup run to game 7 of 1994.
  16. I think it very much depends on what Boudreau himself wants to do. Is it the team option - to bring him back, or does he have the option to return & coach &/or accept another role in the organization if his health isn’t up to it. What are the nuances of his current contact exactly? As one if not the oldest NHL coach in the league, VanCity has perhaps the worst and most rigorous travel schedule in the league. It’d be a stressful & arduous existence for someone half as young. I’m praying that Bruce-there-it-is wants to come back next year, but concede that the choice to return to the team likely rests with both parties - equally.
