That's fair as I said I really hope they've done their homework I certainly don't have enough viewings to make a fair assessment. Though when I have seen him I'm not banging the table saying we need this guy like I am with Simachev, Reinbacher.

Sure but it's still really un remarkable. To me I have him in that great potential category with say Dragicevic. There just isn't enough to go on for me compared to guys who have been progressing consistently.

What gives me the willies pun intended. Is there is no body of work. He had a good U18 playing 2nd pair behind the ASP show. But beyond that. Really really meh. Up until this season he'd done pretty much nothing. Nil points in 12 J20 Nat games rocking a -10 and a further nil in 5 J18 Nat games prior to this season. This season sure a bit better 29pts in 45 with a +11 but J20 Nat is still a solid step down from say the OHL. I guess what I'm saying is man oh man I reaaaaaaly hope they've done their homework on him if they pick him because prior to this year I don't think anyone anywhere had him in their top 250 for this draft class.

Ignorance. At least on my part. I don't know enough about scouting the position. I really like Hrabal and Urban but I honestly wouldn't know where to rank them vs other players. Ian Clarke always get's a goalie pick in the 3rd/4th. Maybe Urban's there?

I don't have a horse in this race. Personally Ill take But over them both. However I think while Wood is getting the spotlight Musty has had a really impressive year. Most importantly I love pwf playmakers. It's kind of a waste of a pwf to be a shooter skulking around looking for soft ice. Don't tell Ovie I said that. Musty could be that guy with 2 defenders draped on him making the pass to Pety/Kuzi/Leks with some open ice. Regardless I don't think our GM has eyes for these players. My guess is we take one of Sale, Perreault, Pellikka.

If we are going for Benson based on this criteria. I'm a bigger fan of Brindley or Heidt. They also display that high skill compete combo but get work done on the inside. I know I now 80% of the game is played within 5 feet of the boards or whatever that quote is....... But it's the elite guys who get work done in the middle.

13-18 looks good. It's like there's a layer of latte foam above them.
