Well I guess we won't know the answer to that. Garland is fearless though if you're only considering his size I suspect he'll make a fool of you like he's done everyone who's under estimated him his whole career. I'd like Crouse too but I wouldn't do Garland 1 for 1 especially now with Garland on a great team friendly contract through his prime. -

Garland does not play PP if he did he would be out scoring Crouse by a wide margin. If we compare their evS points Crouse 16g 10a 26 pts 860mins Garland 13g 19a 32 pts 874mins Conner draws a hell of a lot of penalties he gets under guys skin. Crouse is a fine target to upgrade Pearson's spot we need to start dismantling the country club guys and keeping the guys who go hard in the paint if we ever want to win anything. -

NAh Brocks not getting the big return because he's not worth his QO or anything remotely close. Garland is better than Crousse so no thanks. -

I have zero comprehension of why people want to move Garland? He's the hardest working player on the ice. He's got a great contract and he puts points up 5v5 I don't think people understand just how good Garland has been. Crazy to me to move him. -

Myers had more PM than he had ice time. Though I thought some of the calls were BS and someone had to play with some teeth. Awesome is a bit of an over statement though. -

Which is why he PK's and plays the final 2 minutes every game we're trying to hold a lead. -

[Rumour] Canucks trying to trade Halak
hammertime replied to VegasCanuck's topic in Trades, Rumours, Signings
It was a nice goal lastnight. Which I said in my post. Aside from that 95% of the game is played without the puck. I thought Halak, Pete, Garland, Miller were our best players lastnight. Brock was again invisible until he scored. he's got to dig deeper and play harder not just coast around waiting for a pass in the open with time. His goal was key tonight though. I need to see Brock start doing what it takes to win not just score a highlight reel goal once every 20 games. It's not enough for 6+M Ovi scored 50 but never won anything until Trotz made him play without the puck. Brock isn't close to Ovi. Did Brock stuff a rush? Did he throw a hit, did he strip a puck? Did he get involved in a puck battle? You can't only be a goal scorer esp when you're on pace for what maybe he hits 25G? I want to see him get angry cross check Mckinnon, dive to break up a play, block a shot, show some kind of passion. It's like he's at the all star game every night. He plays with the same energy in the NHL as he does in Da Beauty league. -

Oh well now I'm extra pissed Brock wasn't traded. Nice goal lastnight though cred where it due. Realistically if were gonna play the Motte wanted too much money so anything we got in return is fine. That holds true for Brock too He's not worth his current contract let alone a raise with term. Take what you can get and move him. -
Multiple Canucks players happy to see Hamonic go: report
hammertime replied to Drive-By Body Pierce's topic in Canucks Talk
Interesting how no body said a Peep about Green. Now dudes backstabbin Hammonic to the media on his way out the door. Odd. Regardless of if Hammonic was a problem in the room this should have never gotten out. This says to me the problem in the room is deeper than Hammonic. IMO we got a real country club team needs a real shakeup. -
Were gonna get shafted on this. Let the honey moon be over please. Dude's a slug sure he puts up some points on tap in's and burying rebounds which is a skill set don't get me wrong. But without the puck on his stick he literally does nothing. If I have to hear 1 more time that he's an elite puck battler I'm gonna lose it. Brock's never battle'd anyone ever for the puck. Try to get something anything or let him walk. Would not qualify. I'm tired of watching him float around. I'm sure he's a great guy. You know what they say about nice guys. I want a cup!

We are thats part of the reason we need cap space. So the penalty doesn't roll over.
