  1. Anyone else subconsciously see Trevor Linden when scrolling by this?
  2. Hey Quinn don't worry buddy in 3-4 years you will have a rookie defensive D to play with.
  3. "No food tastes as good as skinny feels' Kate Moss.
  4. I want to see more than just %ages from J fresh. Percent of what how many recorded attempts? 2 different players can both have 25% of something and be no where near equivalent. There's a difference between a guy taking 300 shots and a guy taking 50 one is probably a 25+ goal scorer the other is not. We saw this exacerbated by the J fresh card highlighting Brock as an elite board battler. By the %ages he's one of the best in the league up there with Bieksa who is 100% on faceoffs. It's not real it has no value of we are saying Brock is one of the best in the league on board battles if he doesn't actually board battle. The numbers don't add up. If you actually do the math there are only a finite amount of attempts that can equal his %age. None of which are elite. But sure put him up there as one of the best in the league. The reality is it isn't true. Is he an elite board battler or an elite spot picker. Are Suters %ages legit or are they inflated?
  5. Bure 5 Kes 3 Burr 1 Bur Guzzler line Hamhuis2 Beiksa1 Ham Juice has there ever been a better combo? Demko4 And I'd spend the left over Mill on Gino Odjick on the bench.
  6. Captain Thatcher Snatcher. If anyone on the team could IMO I'd nominate him. I know I know the last time we put a C on a tender it didn't go so well. But I really don't see a better candidate. This team will only go as far as he goes. He studied Philosophy and Psychology at Boston College. He's smart, well-spoken, and a true leader of this team. It doesn't matter who we put the C on he's going to be the one leading this team.
  7. I missed hilinka this year I was in camp out of service but Hemming raised my brow.
  8. Lol I was literally just having the forward discussion with you. When Defenece came up I weighed in. I didn't single out Vegas Defense I could have used MTL or Boston or Tampa or any number of other examples. It's nice to see our D beefed up a bit especially if Myers will be departing. I'm w @guntrix though all this fawning over mgmt. I'll be impressed when they successfully move some cap out. Going into next year with no backup goalie is just asking for the same results. We still only have 3 forwards in our top 9 who put up over 50 hits 2 of which being Pete and Beauvellier.
  9. Their top 6 was Mackinnon, Nischushkin, Rantanen, Kadri, Burakovski I can see that there is no point to carrying on this conversation.
  10. Sorry Mr Blah blah blah I misspoke on Bertuzzi saw his name before I toggled toi. My bad guys Suter played significantly w last year. Sundqvist 6'3 220 Erne 6'1 210 Raymond 5'11 182 Copp 6'1 206 Kubalik 6'2 180 Veleno 6'1 206 Larkin 6'1 198 Rassmussen 6'6 211 Bertuzzi or not he played with big men beside him was my point silly goose. So I mean way to argue accuracy over substance. If you think Suter will be as effective defensively flanked by a carousel of our middle 6 Beauvellier Hoglander Garland Boeser. I don't know what to tell you. I guess you'll have to wait for J fresh to make a WAR chart for you.
  11. LOL @ Hughes Spurgeon pairing. Spurgeon plays with 6'3 220 Middleton it's not by accident. Also those J fresh thingy's are crap. Elite board battling Brock Boeser amirite?? His stats are based on %ages which are worthless without context He might say Bieksa was elite in the fo circle because he's 100%. Yes that is a cup winning team that is what a successful D corp looks like size does matter. Rocking a 3rd line of Hog Suter Garland would get steamrolled you have to balance the lineup. Suter played the majority of his minutes with guys 6'1 200+ lbs Bertuzzi, Copp, Sundqvist, Larkin,
  12. this is flawed logic and you know it. Youre smarter than that. 13. Youre not allowd to criticize new MGMT this is nothing like all the other seasons we signed a bunch of players in free agency and got our hopes up. Nothing like that at all. Alvin added all these players and only subtracted Horvat this is the narrative. Size is just a number thats what my girlfriend said.
  14. My dog's would absolutely shiiiiit n piss all over the place. I love em so I drive.
  15. I mean the prospect pool was empty because they are playing in the NHL. New mgmt is still handing out seconds like candy.
  16. It's great. We will add Lekkerimaki MGMT brain is a genius. I'm not worried youre worried.
  17. I guess people can't take a joke Brock is massive. He's basically a over proofed croissant.
  18. Garland is listed 5'10 180 I put him down at 5'8 because we all know he ain't 510. I didn't realize Brock was 6'1 210 watching him play swore he was 5'8 140 must be photoshopped.
  19. Pete 6'2 185 - 74 hits pretty good he actually threw some hard ones too. Brock 5'8 140 - 49 hits Mikheyev 6'3 195 - threw 13 hits last year in 46 games Garland 5'8 180 - 47 hits Hoglander 5'9 180 - recorded 41 hits in 21/22 Kuzzi 5'11 190 - 13 hits Beauvellier 5'11 180 - 78 hits Suter 5'11 180 - 39 hits Miller 6'1 220 - 200 hits This is our top 9 hits aren't the be all end all but it is a real concern. You don't win 7 game series playing touch hockey. We have 3 guys who threw over 50 hits.
  20. There are guys who are great forcheckers like Mason Raymond he was one of the best at using his speed to stifle another teams breakout. It's a bit of a different story when we are talking about guys who will wear a teams D out over 7 game battle. As I have said I have absolutely no issue with Suter or Hoglander, Garland, Beauvellier, Kuzmenko they are all good players in their own right my concern is there is only Miller in our top 9 who will make a D shoulder check retrieving a puck in the corner.
