I gotta say I'm less than impressed with the new MGMT. People around here love this narrative that they are sunshine and rainbows. The Benning hate clouds their judgment. I think there are positives. I like that there are more voices now in the front office and the hiring of some more forward-thinking people in specialized roles. I'm really impressed with our pro scouting finding Kuzzmenko, Bains, Hirose, Johansen, Aman, Dakota Guiseppe. Why the hell is Lammiko in Europe that guy was a stud?? I'm pretty disappointed they gave Brock the contract they did instead of moving him when he had value. This is fine I've made my peace and who doesn't love Brock? What I cannot accept is that they have been unable to create a more efficient roster. 30 mill on our top 9 wingers. Let the kids play. Maybe ZAR for depth he at least hits which is something we don't have enough of but I think our rosters pretty much done until some cap space is created. I would like to see a healthy rotation up from the farm so we know what we have and the kids know what they need to work on.

calling a guy who is 7th in PP mins averaging 1.5 mins a mainstay seems an exaggeration. It's a moot argument regardless.

Garland does not play the PP therefore he cannot be taken off it. In actual fact in the small sample size of PP time he did get last year he produced at a rate of 5.7 points per 60 which is a much higher rate than Brock has produced since 2017/18. Now I'm not saying Garland is a PP wiz there is a reason he doesn't get PP time. But I don't think we can effectively call him terrible at it. Its probably more correct to say his strengths lie elsewhere. Where it may be more effective to have a guy like Joshua stand in the crease tipping pucks for Pete, Miller, Kuzz, Brock.
