Deserved better. Out chanced them 5 on 5. If they converted one to make it 4-0 it would have been a different story. Of course reffing takes centre stage again. So frustrating.
Kuzmenko looked legit.

I opened up twitter and saw this… thought it was a fake account.
Not sure how I feel about it. Love the player, the term is a bit frightening, though I guess the cap should be a lot higher towards the back end of it.

Josh Anderson is the epitome of falling in love with the idea of a player. What I think he can be, and what he actually is, are worlds apart.
Yup. ie. Jake Virtanen (before the legal trouble).

If you can’t beat Detroit when you need to, you’re not beating Colorado.

I’m genuinely concerned about EP40. Not sure if it’s a confidence thing or him believing too much in his own hype but he used to give 110% every shift. Just not seeing that anymore.
On the bright side, we beat them in faceoffs…

Sedin(s) trade. Single greatest trade. Others were bigger steals and had far reaching trade trees but greatest has to be what Burke managed to do. I also loved the Mogilny trade at the time... what could have been. Good thread!

Lose every night, draft Shane Wright? … Sure as hell hope not. This rebuild should be in the rear view mirror by now. Time will tell but I am jumping off the team tank bandwagon and would really like to see some good hockey being played.
Appreciate you kicking things off! Looks like some pretty good prospects, even if it is a year out.
I think for the betterment of the franchise, they should hold onto the first rounder next year. Let’s hope it’s a late first .

That Lind hit is the hardest Canuck hit I’ve seen in years.

So previous wins don’t count towards the new rules. Yet Luongo...

Elder was a stud tonight!
I get line matching but you’re going to run two lines into the ground. Injuries playing a part but I’m of the opinion you need to role all the lines a little more.

The best shift all game was by Hawryluk... playing without his stick...

The players (at this point) are probably expecting some changes to happen and the roster will be re vamp once again for next year.
Good point, certainly feels like the writing is on the wall.

I’m a huge Bo fan but I’m not sure what he means when he says “we need to mature as a group” ... It’s not “maturing” it’s getting back to having fun and playing with confidence. Coincidentally those often go hand in hand.
This team seems down and yes, losing doesn’t help but they’re making way too many mistakes. Calm down, reset, get back to basics and have fun while doing it. If Green’s eeyore tone is any indication of his temperament in the room then it’s no wonder the team as a whole is off...

You can see Juolevi’s confidence growing. So great to see.

Okay boys, put going for the win aside. Back to basics - tape to tape passes, clean breakouts and at least look like you are trying to win your shift. That’s it. Not to much to ask, is it?

Of course... doesn’t get any more “Canucks” than that.

Is it just me or does Pettersson seem incredibly unbalanced tonight? So odd.

This has not been a good start for GMJB. 2 L’s to to Marky/Tanev, now Toffoli is on the board against the Canucks.

Yes, mine just went out

No urgency on this PP. I don’t get it.

That’s really unfortunate. Been here since 2010; don’t post a lot but am in here quite a bit for information, reading the discourse and of course the instant updates.
Huge thank you to the mods for all your efforts over the years - you all made a great environment here.
See you all on the other site(s).
