      nouns become verbs and the english language suffers for it...tebowing, EG

      Its not plural is the past tense. I will text you is future tense; I am texting you is present; I texted you is past tense. Text can be a noun - I just received a Text, or a verb I love to text. In fact it is a very versatile word. Example, The text in the text that he texted me will help me to text better in the future is what I am currently texting my brother.

      Ok...but the point remains...that up until the age of twatter and facebook and cell phones..a text was nothing more than material for reading (books, newspapers) and was not a verb until then.
