Are they still blacking out an assload of home games? I've been doing a stupid dance with shaw for years.

Let me know...I'm struggling with decisions on this as well.

If anyone has cable AND internet then the decision is a no brainer in my opinion: Center Ice. HDTV baby. If you have cable you already have the sports channels anyways or you wouldn't be on a sports forum, Center Ice is for out of market games.

Sadly, despite the court ruling that specifically stated blacking out local games is tantamount to being a douchebag, the following still applies:

Game Availability in British Columbia and the Yukon

The Vancouver Canucks are the local in-market team in this region of Canada.

Games Available in Rogers NHL GameCentre LIVE without the necessary TV package:

      • All national Canucks games
      • All national games with other teams
      • All out-of-market games with other teams
      • All out-of-market French games

Games Available in Rogers NHL GameCentre LIVE with the necessary TV package:

      • All in-market Canucks games
        • Sportsnet is the English broadcaster for in-market Canucks games on TV
      • All national French games
        • TVA is the French broadcaster for national games on TV
