Stillman is absolute trash, there's not 1 thing he does better than Bear.

100%, he's part of the solution for sure. Not flashy or capable of carrying a parrying but plays a role well and can defend. Him and Hughes are the only D-men on this team I ever care to see again. Possibly Schenn too if the price/term is low but he definitely needs to be flipped for a decent pick.

Nice to see some rotation on the powerplay for once. Miller was a beast, didn't get rewarded but that was easily his best game of the season. That's the guy we need.

None of that really matters if Brock and Miller play well and we don't have to sell low on them. I don't see any fit here with Beauvillier, I'd move him too.

I think it's fair to be disappointed or happy with the trade depending on which avenue you support. It is nice to see change and to add a pick and prospect but the return was not enough for a bonafide elite Center and did nothing to fix our Defense or cap problems. I don't care to hear about how this is what a ufa is worth, it's their own damn fault he is a pending ufa. They chose Miller and some wingers over signing Bo last summer. They also would not allow anyone to talk to Bo's agent about a sign & trade which would have increased the return. This is seemingly at least a direction, something we have not had in a very long time. Of course it only continues to be a direction if assets continue to be moved out for more picks/prospects and impact players that can turn this thing around in Petey & Huggy's window. My opinion of the Canucks today remains unchanged, even when trying to do the right thing the they have to do it the most ass backwards difficult way possible.

I haven't seen this kid play much and it seems like most people haven't by the wildly differing scouting reports on him. Not much recent gameplay of hime either. Starting to like what I'm seeing in Abby, hope they leave all the kids down there to have some success and gain chemistry.

There have been a few times that I have been ashamed to be a Canucks fan. The way Bruce is being treated, I am ashamed to call this my team. If you want a different coach, okay fine, but this is shameful.

No you have to sign them all to extensions first, then you fire them. That's the Canucks way.

Urgently skating the wrong direction

1. New Owners that actually want to build a stanley cup team 2. Miller traded for something useful and cheap 3. Myers traded for something useful and cheap 4. Horvat traded for fair value 5. Total revamping of the defense and bottom six 6. Demko gets healthy and good again 7. Team continues to get tougher and faster

Blow this thing up, makes me want to barf knowing JT Miller makes more than Kyle Connor.

Ring of Honor

This will not be a poplular opinion but unless you win a cup or dedicate your entire life to a franchise like Smyl has, you should not have your number retired. I like the ring of honor, it's where all these guys should be celebrated. The only jersey that should be in the rafters is Smyl and eventually the Sedins' if they continue to be a big part of the franchise. This team has always been too content with mediocrity. Love Lu but he's a Panther.
