  1. At least the likely destination would still be in Canada.
  2. Yeah, I'd avoid that and go with: Hughes-Schenn - proven to work OEL-Bear - more offensive pairing but won't hurt us defensively Stillman-Myers - lots of size and gives Myers a steady partner to cover for the occasional brain fart.
  3. Disappointed to see Breezer sent down. I really liked his game and would have liked to see him get a longer look.
  4. Yeah, I could live with that. My concern was if we'd kept Lundvist.
  5. He's still nowhere close to showing any sign of learning how to play defence. If we had been able to trade him immediately, i would reconsider, but I definitely would not be happy to see him in our lineup.
  6. If they get lucky and draft Bedard, maybe. I still don't see any indication that he was remotely qualified to work in hockey ops. This is what happens when you hire a GM who doesn't understand the sport. He got robbed on both trades.
  7. I don't think their GM should be employed. He's another Dubas who isn't qualified for his job.
  8. That's still setting a horrible precedent that you're willing to get absolutely robbed on a trade. Chytil is ok but he's not the main piece for a guy of that quality.
  9. I'd be ok with this on the condition that Singh was forbidden from working any of our games. Subjecting our fanbase to that scumbag is unforgivable.
  10. So basically Chytil and a late first as the only useful pieces coming back? That's a terrible return. Only way that would have been ok is if Lundvist was immediately traded for something of actual value.
  11. Any cap retention longer than one season is not acceptable. We have already had two management groups stupid enough to do this; any management staff who even suggest this need to be fired on the spot.
  12. Not surprised given how long it's been since we had a home playoff game, especially with the Rourke factor. Even the best seats came out to around $100.
  13. Not bothering today, but favorite was definitely a kissing booth.
  14. LE got votes as well, but anyone who watched him play could see he didn't care at all about putting in any effort. You don't want to create a culture where refusing to break a sweat is acceptable, which is what Marner contributes to in Toronto. Let's not take the Leafs' trash off their hands.
  15. Do you consider Mariner's effort level in the playoffs to be acceptable? Yes or no question.
  16. Marner wouldn't put those numbers up on a team where he was forced to play like a man and put in an acceptable effort in his own zone. I wouldn't pick up that gutless piece of garbage from waivers.
  17. Do you consider Marner's effort in the playoffs to be acceptable?
  18. Only if Toronto waives half and even then, I'd rather have Boeser.
  19. Miller has at least shown he's capable of playing like a man though. Marner is soft as hell and got his coach fired when he was asked to put in an acceptable effort. Miller isn't perfect, but he still brings far more to the table than a guy who doesn't even try in the playoffs. No one can accuse Miller of not caring about winning, unlike Marner.
  20. Why would we want a gutless floater who refuses to backcheck and has one of the worst contracts in the league? Miller at least cares about winning, unlike Mitch the bitch.
