  1. Nonis not making the rumoured Brad Richards trade and getting fired for it definitely has to help there. Proof that sometimes the best deal is the one you don't make, and kept our core intact at the cost of his own job.
  2. I would love seeing Jake play under Torts. Demers surprises me as he would have given Edmonton a second NHL quality blueliner, but I suspect he would prefer to play on a men's team.
  3. I'd run out of room, but I like this player. Reliable depth guy who can be trusted in his own end.
  4. Again, the thread was started by a mod and SN has specified that the thread will stay open. No one is forcing you to participate.
  5. Good depth piece. Was disappointed we didn't bring him in last year in order to get rid of Hunt.
  6. I had a bad feeling she was going to try to meddle too much in hockey ops, which she clearly wasn't qualified to do. Glad management was willing to walk away from a bad hire before any damage was done.
  7. Hunt was taken away from Boudreau for a reason. He's not welcome here.
  8. We had tons of guys last year who would have been huge upgrades over a guy who was worse than useless. We also passed over many guys on waivers who were capable of playing in the NHL. There is no excuse for allowing Hunt to play a single shift.
  9. He had a bit of a blind spot and made a poor assessment, but at least he's a qualified NHL coach unlike the incompetent baboon he replaced.
  10. I prefer defenceman who can actually play defence. He got off easy on here after disgracing the franchise by playing like complete trash in his own zone. Grateful he's gone.
  11. This just shows how stupid Green was to gift Hunt a job despite the clear evidence that he simply doesn't belong in the NHL.
  12. Have to give to get. I like Hoglander but if Hughes can handle the right side then Hague could be a long-term solution as a partner.
  13. I even saw people suggest Quennville as a coaching option while Bruce was in limbo. Some people just have no sense of right and wrong.
  14. RIP Coolio: https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-news/coolio-dead-obit-1234602038/
  15. And Nickelback is still on Spotify. If I don't press play, I don't have to hear Nickelback
  16. Sounds like something the Feds should subsidize then, maybe as part of a national energy program.
  17. The fact that you and I seem to be in actual agreement for once is concerning for me.
