  1. Good fit for him; he gets to avoid the media spotlight and they have a pretty strong team still.
  2. What else would you call Pat King, Tamra Lich, Chris Barber other than Neo-Nazis? I don't think it's healthy to make excuses for players who willingly donate to fund these bigots. These aren't "everyone who disagrees", these are openly racist pieces of garbage. Stasnty may not be a racist himself, but he has such poor character that he has no issue supporting them. Carolina can enjoy having this scumbag on their team.
  3. There were ways to express disagreement without funding a terrorist group led by neo-Nazis. There's simply no excuse for Stastny and he certainly isn't someone I'd want to share a locker room with.
  4. Not a fan of this at all. With the universal DH and now this schedule, I'm not even sure it makes sense to have separate leagues anymore.
  5. Toronto is pretty close with Rielly, Liljegren, and Sandin. Both teams combined wouldn't be able to ice 6 actual NHL quality defencemen. Edmonton's group is likely the worst in the history of the league.
  6. Makes sense since they love defencemen who can't play defence. Wonder how long until McDiver demands a trade to an NHL team.
  7. Yeah, let's sign every single scumbag in the league and bring in multiple locker room cancers. This piece of garbage willingly funded domestic terrorism and you'd want him here? I draw the line at players who simply don't deserve any respect, and this vermin certainly qualifies.
  8. Yep. No reason to sign this terrorist lover. He's not a good enough player to justify overlooking the character issues.
  9. Green is worse than AHL quality.
  10. I highly doubt that even an AHL coach would tolerate LE's floating.
  11. Boudreau will also use training camp for its intended purpose instead of destroying the team with poor player selection.
  12. Burroughs is a better player than Holl, no reason to waive him for this pylon. Any team that plays AHL trash like Rielly, Sandin, and Liljegren does not have a good defence, regardless of what analytics dweebs try to argue.
  13. It drives me off the wall when I see people whining about defensive defencemens' lack of offensive output. That's the equivalent of complaining about Fin because he did a poor job of mopping the floor in the offices while the janitor was on vacation.
  14. I agree that Kadri held things up a lot. Better value to sign him without giving up assets then what it'll take to get Miller.
  15. I'd roll the dice if it becomes clear we can't retain Miller, which is information we don't have, and shouldn't have. Mercer's the main get for me, with his defensive play, versatility, and work ethic combined with offensive ability. He can slot in already and reminds me a lot of Point.
  16. I'd still do Mercer and Severson for Miller if we want to remain competitive this year.
  17. Thew problem is Lundkvist's D. I'd be ok with it if we immediately trade him away for something useful, but I want no part of that pylon. We do not need or want a defenceman who can't play defence.
  18. Can someone please explain what TSN was thinking using Big League as the theme song?
  19. Hoping the Czechs can pull off the upset here.
  20. The problem is his defence, not his offence. I don't care what kind of analytics BS you throw out there, I've seen him play and the way he plays in his own zone is nowhere close to acceptable regardless of offensive output. He disgraced his country with his play at the WJHC after being gifted a spot he did nothing to earn, and he still hasn't learned how to stop being a complete liability. We clearly differ as to whether or not a defenceman who can't play defence has a place in the NHL.
