College players tend to have a leg up on junior players with regard to the coaching and training they receive - that could compress the timeline. Offensively, he is ahead of Raty, in my opinion.

Sasson is 23 and frankly the NCAA iis a great develpment league. I'm wondering if there's injuries he might be the first in line centre

The SEL and the NHL have an agreement that 1st round picks can come over to North America at any time and play here. They can even be sent to the AHL. It’s only first round picks though so you won’t see D-Petey come here until he is ready for the NHL. Lekkerimaki could be here next year and can play in Abby.

I was discusing Willanddr and how he cuuld play NCAA after he played in the SEL. If you play 1 game in the CHL you're banned from playing NCAA

  3. As  whole fans don't want the truth and prefer to live in a fairy tale land of sugar an spice. How long fans lived in a world where Juolevi was a future all star and Virtanen need to play on the line with the Sedins was unbelievable. Lets just hope managemnt has things in perspective. I hope Demko is ready, but with the arrival of family I wouldn't be at all surprised that working out fell a little behind. Patterson tels you what he sees

How do you miss JT in that list?

He got the better of Soucy when they fought.

i agree, Joshua should be there but i havent seen him show it yet. Hugs, a bit of slow starter in scraps.

I wonder if Joshua was promoted to be some thing he isn't. He's a good bottom six guy but I question if he''s a brawler

Draft picks all day er day

On average the chnace of getting a meaningful players is low, think Juolevi and Virtanen  rather then EP. Even ffirst O/A picks continue to disapoint and never make it. I like the draft don't get me wrong but most low end pick are very low percentage success rate. We all get excited each year but never follow up the success rate, guys simply disapear to EU

Look at all the late round pick in the last 10 years

Yeah I don't see a spot for Bone on this team if we can flip him for a pick we should.

The constant desire to get draft picks is a fools errend. First of all you ain't getting much better than a late round pick and the chnace of getting an NHL player is >20%. Rathbone is not a house hold name and by now scouts are doubting he's an NHL player period. The idea of a sweetner to another trade is likely the best you're going get

  7. I'm with you on Myers to many poster are like sheep. Think of this and the fans ability to read a player. Years ago Edler was a bum if you believe the sheep and Juolevi was our saviour. Too many simple follow the herd

Benning dug is into a deep bloody hole. New management is doing a great job getting us out of that hole and up a ladder to the top of the heap. We shall soon see a return to the Great Gillis club results for our club!

To be honest when I looked at our self imposed Cap problems  I  couldn't see any solution. It was a massive mess with apprently no escape hatch. However credit where it's due PA has done a wonderful job. The only uncertainty is the Pearson injury. If he and Poolman were boot on LTI every thing would be OK. But Pearson tells us he's ready to go puts pressure on PA to move another winger. That's thhe wrinkle in PA plan. In addition Aquaman should get some applause for forking out th pay out on OEL contract

One way or another, this is going to be a highly competitive training camp with the likes of Karlsson, Hoglander, Podkolzin, battling for spots on the roster.

Let alone the competition for defense.

Surely Podkolzin need to put it all together this season, maybe even a make of break season

What makes you think or believe that in 2023 that people don't want to see nor hear great singers like Richard Loney, Roger Doucet(Montreal), Paul Lorieau(Edmonton) and Susan Smith(Calgary)?? Great anthem singing includes note perfect renditions. And when those legendary singers sang along to the organ playing, it added to hockey games.

How about Rene Rancourt in Boston, wild, now taken over by Todd Angilly. St Louis had had Charles Glenn. They had the fans yelling wildly before the game started and then we have Vancouver ....timid
