There are 5 teams tied with 11 pts. Certainly they have played fewer game

Aquilini’s pride is getting in the way of change.

This is funny to my way of thinking. I was in Arica in Chile and talking to the company agent about hockey. He had apprently lived in Finland for a long time. He told me the Swedish Papers had a cartoon showing Salming coming home in a coffin -
Abby tied for last in the AHL, that's not the way it was supoosed to be, so lets cross Johnson off the list of JB replacements

Remember some one once described Elderbrink as the only hockey player that could go in a corner with a dozen eggs in his pocket and come out with out a single breakage -
Boeser needs a free flowing game to show his best. Despite the coaches he as going good for a while, but, too much coach = BB predicament today
-
Absolutely, like signing Roussel and Beagle for big money and lest we forget ERicksson, so many bad decissions .... sort of leads us to where we are now
-
I liked the Craig Button comment on the Vcr defence. "Vcr has cornered the market on third pairing defencemen" The fact is who ever is coach ain't going to be able to correct that
-
Podkolzyn likes high on the short side, great shot but you'd have to think that it'll be addressed by pre game scouts

Maybe we should start out search by identifying who has done the best job or rebuilding their team. I nominate this guy Tampa Bay Lightning. Apart from his 1st round picks he grabbed this bunch from later rounds which impresses me Brayden Point.............................3rd round Anthony Cirelli ............................3rd " Anadrea Palat .............................7th " Mathieu Joesph ...........................4th " Eric Cernak .................................2nd " Tyler Raddich ..............................2nd "

If this season bombs, do you support a rebuild ?

Here's an unbiased piece by Scott Burnside -
That's the perception, here's what I cal good drafting, Tampa Bay Roster players and SC winners. And remember TB is drafting much lower than Vcr Brayden Point.............................3rd round Anthony Cirelli ............................3rd " Anadrea Palat .............................7th " Mathieu Joesph ...........................4th " Eric Cernak .................................2nd " Tyler Raddich ..............................2nd "

Maybe the rule is generally to be considered an NHL'er you need to play 100 game in the NHL. Gaudette did I believe but he was waived to the AHL today, Rathbone will make it IMO, however that was that you would call a fortuitous pick ( Brackett used to coaach the kid in the kids summer league, new him well and then Rathbobe declined to attend his NCAA Contract which put a lot of scouts/GM's off him) Forsling was a good pick but a terrrible trade by JB. Tryamkin it seems insulted JB by turning down his offer, he's a FA next summer and we'll see then.Lockwood a spin of the bottle right now. On the other hand we have too many to count that failed to make the grade

IMO posters on this board after the draft go overboard on every pick and start promoting them beyond the wildest dreams. Hogelander is our headliner the rest Lind, Gaudette etc ....dreams
-
The belief is Podkolzyn will gt better, Chiason not so much, on his last legs
-
As a rule the GM has a lot more input for the 1st round but conceeds the later rounds to the scout. As to success in the later rounds, it always seems that way but to be honest not many (other than Demko ) actually come through, mostlt promotion by fans and board poster speculation IMHO

Remamber this was suppoedly JB strong suit... drafting, he was oor drafting guru

NHL U.S. defenseman rankings tiers: Why Adam Fox, Charlie McAvoy are in an elite class We chose Juolevi rather than AcAvoy "McAvoy has the best overall game. You can put him on the No. 1 power play, the penalty kill, he can play a physical game against physical players and can play the speed game against the faster players," said one NHL veteran. "Fox is a very good player in the offensive zone. He's a heck of a defenseman. But if he's going against a physical player in the corners, he might not come up with that puck as often as McAvoy would."

Well I see Chicago put him on waivers today and guess what his wife likely goes with him

(Speculation) Mike Babcock in town to meet with Aquilini family...
Fred65 replied to N4ZZY's topic in Canucks Talk
Does any one else believe there's a conflict between Green and Shaw? One wishes for offence (Green ) and Shaw wants to go defence first. I see quite a bit of the third man high holding up in the middle of the defensive slot. The rsult is confusion for the players. The forwards look confused -

I think Babcockstill has $18 mill owing to him, I can't imagine I would throw that away -
There's one obstacle, Gillis is too intelligent for the average fan and ditto FA. People feel it's arrogance but the fact is he just doesn't suffer doesn't fools easy
-
Personally I'd like to bring in an over all person or company that specializes in analysing management system. However, however if Aquaman is n't going to listen or pay heed what would b the point. The name that keeps thrown around is Mike Forde

I'm quiet proud of the fact that British Columbia is now 87% fully vaccinated. And that includes the remote Northern areas when they're still ponderin if the world is actually flat. I find it hard to believe that some express conceern about actually being jabbed, a physical fear. Here might be the solution Russia plans to export nasal form of COVID-19 vaccine next year | Financial Post

Frankly I'm struggling see why there's an objection. He's one of the few, very few, that thinks before his fingers hit the keyboard, he isn't a cheerleader and he makes his own analysis. Definitley not a sheep. Why would any one ban the chap simply because he disagrees with your own position. I'm befuddled ( that should give some youthful scope for a few postes LOL ) ps I certainly don't trust JB's intellect to make decissions. This guy got us to where we are, why on earth would we trust him to get us out of the mess, just asking
