I've never felt more confident in our teams chances come Sept 1st than I do this year.
We've got Petey at a 12 million dollar discount for the next two seasons.
We've got Bo on arguably one of the best non-ELC contracts in the league ... our goalies only cost 4.6 million and will be one of the best tandems in the league.
Brock will soon be signed at a reasonable dollar... Edler already took a huge discount...New face in the organization will fight against the Luongo cap penalty and have it removed
Our time is now. The cup will be ours in 2020 and/or 2021
(Sept 2011 Honorable mention... everyone knew that team would dominate and they absolutely did by winning the Presidents Trophy in 2012... becoming the FIRST EVER back to back president trophy champs in the Salary Cap Era)-

Have to say, I entered this summer not liking our first few moves, but the other ones work with what we did, and I'm quietly confident that we are going to be a lot better than people give us credit for. If we can get on a roll, not have the massive losing streaks, and find consistency....oh man. Add to that Markstrom playing like he did in the last half of last season. We could be sneaky good.
