Great fights except for the main event. Loved the Petr Yan fight. Kids an animal. I've been watching UFC since before Dana and the Fertitas bought it and Usman is the most boring champ I've ever watched fight.. I love ground game and stand up.. I'm not one of those guys who just like kick boxing. Khabib is my favourite fighter.... but holding a guy against the fence and stomping on his feet for 3 rounds is embarrasing. Dana pbbly can't stand Usman.. he's not going to lose for a long time and he's boring as watching paint dry.. no one wants to watch his fights except ppl in Nigeria and none of tjem buying ppv..I mean be a man. Punch him in the face. Drop down to single leg try take him down. Have some respect for youself and ur opponent.. stomping his foot like 300 times.. that's just embarrasing.. I didn't mind him as much as a lot of ppl before tonight but this was rediculous

We don't have top 2 picks this upcoming draft.. Take a top 15 pick and a 2nd rounder. I think a team will pay that. It might not be enough in normal circumstances... but most owners will be trying to shed salary.. the league lost approx 40% of their revenue this year.. next year might be similar.. maybe worse.. if i can get that package I take it and run.. Re sign Toffoli and move Virtanen to 2nd line..

Anyone have a link

Talking about trading Boeser is a good thing.. ofcourse they've talked about it. The cap will stay flat for several years. Brocks QO is 7.5 mill. If Canucks find a way to re sign Toffoli he plays top wing with EP and Miller. They were just too good together. Boeser is one dimensional and doesn't play with hustle.. 7.5 mill is too much for 2nd line winger with Boesers style with the cap situation. Virtanen will be a good 2nd liner at half the price with a lot more speed and physicality and durability. I highly doubt Sekeras has inside info... he just said what many of have already thought I don't think he should be reporting this at this time. Boeser might refuse to come play in Edmonton if he takes it seriously. Or not be so motivated.. just not something the team needs rigjt now. I bet anything JB and comoany are livid. JB will sit Boeser down and say there's nothing to it..

NHLPA owes the NHL approximately 500million in escrow. Could get to 1 billion acording to TSN. Hence 30% escrow next season... With no fans in stadium in a gate driven league it's going to be a tough 2 or 3 years for the NHL. There is no way owners want to spend 100 plus million on compliance buyouts. Lots of owners will be trying to lower spending as much as they could.

Looks like it ended up working out as well as it could for him... Living in Moscow for 2 year would be awesome . Either there or St. Petersburg knows as Paris of the East and one of the most beautiful cities in the world.. He was making 700k After taxes and agent fees he'd take home under 350k Next year if he made the NHL his pay would be 750k. With 30% escrow his real pay would be around 525k. Minus taxes and agent fees he'd make around 250k take home He'll make more take home pay in KHL and get to live in Moscow and travel all over that part of the world for 2 years...

We all follow guidelines. But there are so few cases here that as far as I can see most people are living normal lives. Restaurants and cafes are open. Gyms are open. What else do you need to know how normal things are here.... Buses and trains have lots of people on them. I went downtown on LRT... McEwen station where the rink and hotel is.. lots of people walking around ... dont see people wearing masks... Any ways well see how it goes.. I'm in that area often I'll update you guys when things get rolling. Even media has reported that NHL executives don't belive players will be locked up in hotel and that will go out breaking protocol. They're not in jail.. they can't be forced to play a game and then lock up in their rooms 20 hrs a day.
-
So like I said they won't be locked in hotel like jail. Block of 2 block area tbey can go for walks or jogs. They'll be outside. What about coming in contact with restaurant employees or golf course employees. How sbout people who cook their food at restaurants that will ne blocked off to public..Are all this people working at those facilities and their families going to be quarantined?.. News media report things in order to educate and control thinking of viewers. Chris Cuomo had covid was claiming to be quarantined in his base ment away from his family on CNN every night... Until one of his neighbours cought him walking outside with his wife and children.. Just the way things work..

@wai_lai416 Rogers Place is connected to the newly built hotel where players will stay via breezeway. The area is smaller than a prison. Anyone thinks players see hundreds of ppl walking around hanging out outside and they just stare out of Windows like they are in a jail is rediculous. It's not gonna happen . Not here In edmonton. I haven't been to Vancouver for several months.. since before covid.. So i won't tell you how things are in that city. Don't call it dumb when I tell you how life is here.
-
Call it dumb. I've been living here. Just telling you guys how life is here.. Really don't want to qualify my self. But i guarantee you I'll see players and media in and around town.. I'M a bit older than average fan boy. So I'm not type of person to bother them or takes pics to prove i was right on a msg board... But i live here. Don't tell me what I see and how people live here.. Players are NOT going to jail where they can be restricted... And when they see how normal life is here they'll be going for walks and jogs and food and a beer. Anyone thinks they will lock up like in jail are the dumbest thing I heard The argument to allow fans in stadium is idiotic.. .
-
If he has another gear over Meier than means we hit another EP Quinn type of draft . Meier is a heck if a player. Power forward with skill.. his qualifying offer on next RFA contract is 10mill if i remember correctly. But i think Pod is a bit more aggressive.. soon as he comes over get him Horvats skating coach to work on his stride and we are laughing

Dont belive this for a minute. There won't be a bubble in Edmonton. Can't speak for Toronto but won't be like that here in EDM.im here. Been here long time.. well before covid crisis started . . Players will be out and about in Edmonton... I walked from the rink and hotel where players will be staying for approx 20 mins to a friend's house.. And then back to rogers place MacEwan station to take LRT back to to my place. Life is normal here in edmonton.. There is no way players will lock up in a bubble. When they all come here and notice how people are living they will be going out for food and drinks or a walk or a jog.. I guarantee it.. no matter what media reports.. here they will not lock up in a bubble like they are in jail.. Maybe that's the plan but when they come to edmonton and see how normal things are they'll be out and about...

Not bad at all in Edmonton.. Any where you go don't see majority of people wearing masks. At grocery store I saw 2 Asian ladiess in masks and gloves approx 3 weeks ago.. Other than that it's generally life as normal We don't have much of a problem.. Limits to 250 ppl allowed in at super store.. one time I went on Sunday i had to wait for 8 to 10 ppl ahead of me. Other than that at I haven't experienced line up at any grocery store I shop at I go for a jog regulary since the panic started because my gym closed down...and I noticed a pretty long lineup at Costco one day when i jogged by ...and also same at Canadian Tire one other day... Never ran out of toilet paper in wallmart or superstore when people panicked and apparently TP sold out in Vancouver .. .my friends from Vancouver were calling telling me about how it wasn't available.. albeit shelves were not fully stocked .. But still available. I didn't even grab any had a pack at home. Realistically how much does a person need?. I find it odd that's the first thing people thought most important About one or rwo weeks after the panic we were a little bit low on certain beef products if i went to super store or wallmart.. Safeway it was less low.. But i always got what I wanted. And i go in evening so beef product shelves were low in evening .. Been here since well before xmas. And honestly other than economy being dead and work being slow I haven't noticed too much difference in day to day life..btw economy here was dead before covid.. NHL made the right decision make edmonton hub city imo.. I spent half the day downtown yesterday and can't remember 1 person wearing mask I'm sure there was the odd person but it's not on top of list to look for. So i didn't notice any one wear mask. It's generally not something people think about. .. Only one thing I didn't get during one of my grocery shopping days was chick peas. Next time i went it was available... no big deal.. So imo it's great decision to make this city hub city.. i highly doubt players and staff will lock them selves up in hotel connected to the new rink.. btw the hotel is really nice. Brand new i was tbere today...No way players stay locked inside no matter what you hear from media. The city is functional and I expect players and staff to go for walks or jogs and for a beer .. they won't be locked up in hotel like jail.. it's pretty normal here..

Ohh man Scary thought But I'd rather him laff than any US team...i just want him in Canada... What if he goes east conference.. I wouldn't get him watch play... Call me selfish but i spend a lot of time travelling in 3 cities.. van edm and tml and I go watch games... Right now I'm in edm for atleast next 3 months so I'm glad this is a hub city.. Just selfish.. But at same time it's safest from covid. We don't have a big problem here..

Laffy is not on his level. Mcdavid is a generational talent. OV Crosby Gretky Mario Jagr level... Laffy would be great on 97s wing.. I spend a lot of time in Edmonton and go watch Oilers games often... in Edmonton right now actually... If not Canucks would love to see him in Edmonton. That's my 2nd choice.
