They absolutely love Hayes in Philly. When he signed 7 million seemed like an over payment to everyone out side of Flyers mgmt. But they couldn't be happier.. Management loves him, his team mates love him and fans love him... Hes having a career year. Let's see how it holds up for 6 more seasons. -

Some players stats are for rookie seasons only some are rookie plus previous season. It's not even for all players. The average fan could be mislead easily thinking that's for 1 season as rookie.. " while playing as a rookie" presumes everyone reading knows the NHL CBA regarding how many games you can play and still be considered a rookie. Or it mis leads by suggesting that it's a stat for defenceman rookie seasons.. I read many posts on here every day.. a lot more than I post... Most ppl don't know simple things regarding CBA let alone something like this. Hughes, Chelios and Leetch have played more than one season.. Not bad idea to clarify for ppl. Typo -

This is misleading. Hughes has 45 assists 53 Pts. He has 48 assist including 3 from last season. Quinn has 13 games left , He'll make 50+ assist this season by the time it's over. -

If we keep getting goaltending like we did tonight I think we can catch CGY and take 3rd spot in division. 1 game in hand 1 point behind the Flames right now. -

Demko won that game for us ... -
Just like we didn't release his rights and benefited. If he wants to come back to NHL he can only sign with us. If his KHL club doesn't release him IF/WHEN he goes back to KHL he will only be eligible to sign with Yekaterinburg. IF they release him he becomes UFA. He can even sign in KHL next season with a different team like St. Petersburg or Moscow. He will be UFA if they release him. They have absolutely zero incentive to do such a thing. Unless Aqua talks to the Italian mob and they talk to the Russian mob, perhaps some hockey bags full of Rubles are exchanged. That might help. Then there's the question of Tram being a group 2 free agent and possibly not eligible to return this season. We'll know more over the next couple of days I guess.

What did you expect, him to play for free or under market value in a foreign country, and the least desirable NHL city in the entire league, because Canadian economy sucked? I wish Sakic or Yzerman and the likes came back to Canada to do that. For a guy to be born and raised in Boston to go to equivalent of Siberia I think he was great for not asking out earlier. He stayed with WPG for 5 years then another 5 or 6 years with Phoenix when the team moved there.

Wishful thinking. 'Good shot' isn't good enough , maybe he'll rather go play in Moscow. No point releasing him, just like Canucks wouldn't release a guy in similar situation. KHL recently made that rule to discourage teams from doing such a thing. A small market team, in the middle of Russia half way to Siberia is not going to go against the league's wishes.

Imagine Khabib vs Tony Ferguson fight gets canceled because of corona virus. That would be the 5th cancellation for theese two. There's a good chance it gets canceled as reports indicate the Virus will be hitting hard in about at that time. It's unlikely people will be gathering in large crowds for sporting event Maybe they'll move it to a different country.. interesting couple of months coming up.

What incentive does his KHL club have to release him and make him UFA in KHL if he ever returns there. And there's a good chance at some point he will return to KHL, maybe 2 yrs or 5 yrs but he will based on his past history.
