TD Colts. Great drive, just made the game even better.

What a great game so far, Revis with a pick for his 3rd turnover for the night.
-
Oh, I thought you meant Lynch holding out for more money for himself. ... yeah I doubt that.
-
Lynch already did that after the Super Bowl win, he got a restructured contract then. And he just signed another extension of 3 years $31 million before this season.

Yes without the team there are no players but without the players there is no NFL. In a business deal you use the rules and agreements to your benefit. The teams use the CBA to do what's best for them as should the players. I was one of the very few who was on the NHL side during the last CBA lockout. I took a lot of heat and criticism from union supporters on CDC during those months. Having grown up in a business family and been in business most of my life I am usually on the side of the business. But for the NFL I can see the player's side and in some instances agree with the player. And I agree with you on what the NFLPA should do but I don't see that happening. NFL players don't have the patience or unity to sit out a season and miss paychecks as NHL and MLB players have done in years past. Plus NFL is such a physical sport. There are so many injuries in every game and players routinely play thru injuries. If contracts were guaranteed it would be a mess as so many players would be sitting for weeks and months. Now they don't because they're afraid of losing their contract and jobs. Sucks for them but as fans this is a better set up for us.

Here's an excellent read on Kam Chancellor's situation. Really worth the read for those who don't follow NFL as closely as they follow the NHL. Towards the end you will read about how much courage Kam has and how much he has given to his team, it's mind boggling when you read the type of injuries he played thru. http://mmqb.si.com/mmqb/2015/09/15/nfl-kam-chancellor-seattle-seahawks-holdout This is a list of people the Seahawks have waived or released with time and cash remaining on their contracts in the calendar year 2015. This is typical of all 32 teams: Robert Turbin. Will Blackmon. Anthony McCoy. Tyrell Adams. RaShaun Allen. R.J. Archer. Obum Gwacham. Keenan Lambert. Ronald Martin Jr. T.Y. McGill. Douglas McNeil III. KeaVon Milton. Ryan Murphy. Will Pericak. Eric Pinkins. Terry Poole. Alex Singleton. Kevin Smith. Rod Smith. Julius Warmsley. Kasen Williams. Lemuel Jeanpierre. D’Anthony Smith. Jesse Davis. George Farmer. Deshon Foxx. Deontay Greenberry. Keelan Johnson. Quayshawn Nealy. Greg Scruggs. Ty Zimmerman. Brandon Cottom. Triston Wade. Jake Waters. Jeremy Crayton. Robert Smith. Tony McDaniel. Ryan Robinson. Tory Slater. Demitrius Bronson. Nate Isles. C.J. Davis. Justin Renfrow. Mike Taylor. Jared Wheeler. Mike Zimmer. Luke Ingram. Zach Miller. Jesse Williams. Garrett Scott.

of course he wouldn't get cut as long as he's playing great. what my point is that he could and will get cut if he starts to suck. Seahawks themselves have asked players to take salary cut in the middle of a contract. So why can't it be the other way around.? Teams ask players to re structure and take pay cuts on a regular basis. The SeaHawks haven't told him to stuff it. They are negotiating and the difference now is less than 1 million plus his fines. used to happen in the NHL until they put a stop to it via the CBA. NHL contracts were guaranteed and NFL contracts are not. It would be great to put a stop to it BUT only if both sides can't do it. Not just 1 side.

I understand your sentiment but NFL is such a physical sport, careers are so darn short and players get cut all the time. Contracts aren't guaranteed so it's common for a team to cut players thru out the season. Even injury during a game could cause the team to cut you and lose your contract. I don't have a problem when NFL players hold out. He's the engine that drives this team on D fense, he plays a super physical style and every game could be his last, get it while you can because the team will cut him without thinking twice if they feel like he's not playing to the level he should. So if a team can cut you and cancel your contract because you under performed you should be able to ask for a raise when you outperform your contract. 2 way street.

haha, yeah weird how that always seems to happen when you are in a hurry. pbbly a good thing you got that out of the way. Seahawks coaches made me feel like I wasted my time on this game anyways.... another dumb play call to start OT which cost them the game..
-
this is on the coach, why the heck do you make the call to onside kick to start OT??? can't believe it..
-
Groceries quick ? a football game isn't that long, maybe if it was a cricket match.....
-
SEA coached didn't learn anything after the dumb play call to lose the Super Bowl, first game of season and another stupid play call with onside kick.
-
yeah hopefully the Bears can put up some points (TD) on this drive, exciting finish coming up. Edit: Oh boy, guess not.....

What a game. Reminds me why NFL is the best sport going.

I order Sunday ticket every year. It's worth the price. I remember a few years ago I got it free the whole season.
-
Sherman got away with PI but Foles would have been out of bounds. Great games so far. Surprised at the IND BUF score. Rams always play SEA hard. Great battle. Would like to see them involve Graham though. Nothing his way yet.

Mackinon and Jones go 1-2. Flip em as you like but the list starts with them two.

It was around $800.00 per ticket, so approximately $3000.00 for all 4 seats. I haven't received my CC bill yet so can't say exact number. But the total bill was 1985 euros + 15 euro delivery charge. So 2000.00 Euros for 4 tickets. I think that's a pretty good price for the most expensive seats in the stadium. All the tickets are sold out so I was one of the lucky ones. Depending on who is playing I think they'll be going for much higher next summer when the game is played. I might sell them if I make a good profit, otherwise I'll be travelling to Europe for a fun time. Either way it will be worth it. Marseilles is on the Mediterranean sea close to Ibiza where I'll definitely be going should I decide to keep the tickets. Should be a blast. -

UEFA EURO 2016 Finals in France. I applied for all 4 QF, 2 SF and the Final matches. I was able to get 4 Semi Final tickets to the Semi Final match in Marseilles France next July. Got the most expensive seats, center field for approximately $3000.00. Interested to know if anyone else tried to get some tickets. -

Shut out the Yankees, another great game by the Jays. Loving it. Seems like there's a pretty good buzz building up across Canada with this Jays team. Can't wait till tomorrow to see if they can get a series sweep.
