  1. I personally make all my players eat healthy food and drink smoothies while I grab some McDonalds after late night film study. Haven't seen my rambone in a while I need to get on a diet maybe the players will start listening to me again if I start eating healthier and exercising just a little bit.
  2. "Big people beat up little people" - Chip Kelly You are safer on the sidelines Alf we need you and your alien buddies to come up with new play calls and signals so teams can't steal our advanced communication strategies.
  3. Heck no my ego is too big for that I just bought a new house outside Philly around New Jersey. I'm the next Pete Carroll no Bill Belichick.. Plus I have too much control to give it back just yet. I never liked recruiting and dealing with boosters and people in general. The Patriots borrowed the idea of tempo offnse from me you know?! If I had my baby Mariota still we would be winning games. I wanted to trade up to get him so bad. I still watch tape of his games late at night thinking what a waste for him to play without showing his true potential with my system and me coaching him. I'm determined to do things my way and prove it can work after all if things don't work out I will try another NFL team like say.. The Titans. If not I got a cushy college job waiting either way.
  4. No way lol. I would take Manziel, RGIII, Kaeperknick or even Bradford before him. He simply can't throw consistently it's too late for him at his age anyways to learn or get another shot. Better to make money as an analyst and protect his body.
  5. This John Klingberg Swedish d seemingly came out of nowhere.

Former 5th round pick in 2010 leads all d in points and assists.

    What a freaking steal!!

  6. You are right too many needs. Have to prioritize the glaring ones like o-line and wr and for sure draft a young qb to groom and hope you get lucky and he becomes a franchise qb down the line. In the meantime they need a legit option to push Bradford if they re-sign him. Sanchez is trash third string qb level. Can't fix bad teams in one off-season alone.
  7. Where do the Eagles go from here run the table to close out and tank the season to draft a potential franchise qb? Fire Chip or just suggest he adds a GM with NFL experience? To me it looks like the players on D have flat out quit on Chip and his overrated offense. The offense was bad the whole year but the D was solid only 5-6 games ago. It's fuccing perplexing how quickly a team can turn to $&!#2 years in a row down the stretch. The talent on offense is injury prone and not good enough. The system is killing the team with the basic offense and defense no adjustments made on either side of the ball. Bad game planning/ scheme and play calling. Demarco Murray is an overrated RB so slow and has zero agility can only go north-south overly reliant on blocking. Agholor looks like another USC wr bust just like Marquise Lee and Robert Woods are. Jordan Matthews is a #2 at best. The rest of the receivers suck ass. No pass rush. Soft defense doesn't have any hitters got exposed first against Carolina. Top off season needs #1 qb #1 wr o-line pass rusher and depth on D. Another waste of the year. So much for winning the offseason. Biggest joke in the NFL. Browns are Eagles cousins both wanted Chip Kelly and Sam Bradford as well as Mariota. If I were Chip I would try to go to the Titans because they have a franchise caliber qb if healthy. Fans in Philly want him out. Chip is tired of dealing with the slanderous media people there in town. At the year end press conference how do they bs the ticket holders and fans that Chip still has a vision and that it might work still with Chip in absolute control of the ship?
  8. It seems he is running out of ideas. I think he gets another year if he wants but can't imagine what a $&!#storm it is in Philly right now. Maybe @Baka can shed some light on what might happen.
  9. Denver is ready to rock with Brock though... but Kubiak is not ready to commit to the Big O. In all seriousness he played pretty decent good enough to win. As long as he gets help from the d and run game Broncos will be fine.
  10. Today Lacy finally showed up though and the offense was balanced. Vikings had no answer for the hoodie wearing James Jones. Never seen a play who is not standing on the bench wearing a hoodie while playing... http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-shutdown-corner/james-jones-explains-why-he-wore-a-hoodie-underneath-his-uniform-041709337.html
  11. I wonder if Peyton Manning and Marshawn Lynch are healthy enough to keep playing past this year. Both guys have taken tons of punishment.
  12. Next week's schedule in terms of quality match ups on paper is underwhelming but there are a handful of good to decent ones. Carolina vs Dallas Vikings vs Falcons Steelers vs Seahawks Patriots vs Broncos
  13. True that could very well be one of the best games of the week. How Carolina's d plays will show a ton how good they really are. They were able to contain Rodgers and Green Bay though earlier.
  14. Cowboys welcome Killa Cam to Big D next week so good luck with that. Then again Greg the hothead Hardy will be playing his old team so you know he will be extra pumped. If the Panthers had Kelvin Benjamin healthy they would be a clear favorite to win. Even without though they are legit contenders now. Panthers-Patriots Super Bowl?
  15. I understand people like to say how many playoff wins Sanchez has but to be fair he had an amazing defence with the Jets with a young Revis and Cromartie who could both lock down guys 1-on-1 consistently a ferocious front and blitzing and exotic pressures from a typical Ryan defense. Sanchez and really any qb's numbers in terms of completion percentage will be inflated the most in this offensive system due to the plays run being high percentage dink and dunk throws mostly with shallow crosses and quick throws to backs or receivers on screens and seam passes to TE's. Those plays are much easier to complete when you only go deep rarely and prefer to work the middle of the field with the TE's and slot receivers and horizontally with screens. I get what you are saying though but Sanchez is probably just as if not more mistake prone than Bradford he has a history of either fumbling or throwing big interceptions that change the momentum of the game for the worse.
  16. Interesting well Goff plays right in the 49ers backyard at Cal and has functional mobility from the reports I've seen as well as being able to make most of the throws required in the NFL. For Boykin I think he would need a system like the Eagles have where the reads are simplified as the field is cut into two on most plays and the qb always has more than 2 options on each play built in if he is athletic and smart enough to take advantage of them. Heard about Paxton Lynch he is getting great buzz right now. Eagles sent their scouts to watch him too.
  17. Yeah he is in the same category as Foles and Bradford and the rest of the average guys. To be hones, with how Bradford was playing up until 2 games ago, having Sanchez play is really not as big a drop off if any compared to teams who have a legit starter. But then again usually when there is not much drop off between backup and starter it means usually that the teams' qb's are both terrible.
  18. Can you believe Tyrod Taylor was open to playing for the Eagles because he thought his arm strength and athleticism were perfect fits for this system? Chip opted to give Tebow a shot instead and put his trust in forever injury prone Sam Bradford who he thought could become a b version of Drew Brees.. I really hope Eagles draft a young qb to push Bradford who is mobile and can throw. This Trevone Boykin from TCU looks like the next Tyod Taylor great arm and speed in the open field to keep defenses honest when playing the run and on qb option.
  19. True but system for sure helps simplifying the reads to get the ball out quicker for most qbs. Probably legit 5 qbs in the league who make players around them better. Brady, Rodgers, Brees, Rivers, Roethlisberger true franchise guys. The rest run hot and cold and are not capable of reading defenses at an elite level to be able to audible and control the line of scrimmage and make sure the players are in spots to succeed on each play and are not known as great field generals who battle and play with a fire and intensity. Those 5 guys are all proven Super Bowl winners with the exception of Rivers and are still playing at a high level right now. My list for qbs would be those 5 since Peyton Manning always chokes in big playoff games he belongs in the mediocre category if ranking for right now. The step below those guys are Matt Ryan, Joe Flacco, Tony Romo, Eli Manning, Carson Palmer, Russel Wilson the good but not as consistent as those truly elite guys still clear franchise qbs but they run hot and cold still. Then you have the mediocre borderline franchise qb's may put up good numbers but don't really win in big games despite the talent around them they can be frustrating to watch because they are very talented or have good talent around them or both but don't win and play as good as people expect. You can't get rid of these guys because they still play good enough not to be replaced and have pedigree as high picks and because the draft is a crapshoot and the other options are trash. Guys like Dalton, Luck, Stafford, Cutler,Newton, Peyton Manning in his declining stage is in this category now. Then you have up and comers guys like Carr, Mariota, Bridgewater,Bortles, Winston, Manziel and the rest of unproven guys still trying to establish themselves or average veterans like Alex Smith,Ryan Tannehill Josh McCown, Tyrod Taylor, Colin Kaeperknick, Sam Bradford, Kirk Cousins, Nick Foles, Bryan Hoyer/Ryan Mallett, Ryan Fitzpatrick/Geno Smith, RGIII guys who can play good one week and look trash the next. Matt Cassel, EJ Manuel, Blaine Gabbert ... Way too inconsistent to trust as franchise qbs either because they can't stay healthy or simply don't play good. They can start but better have a good backup behind them and another qb for when they get hurt or stink it up week to week. How do you rank the elite qb's the step below and the rest?
  20. Eagles sadly have the same problem. They cheaped out on the oline cut some steady veterans and let go Maclin and Jackson for cheaper alternatives they either signed or drafted. They then used the money saved and overpaid it on two rb's in Demarco Murray and Ryan Matthews at a position in rb that you can find cheaper guys to sign or draft that would produce just as much as Demarco. Unfortunately instead of acquiring a pass rusher they had to overpay to get Byron Maxwell who was just looking to go to whichever team would flat out pay him the most. The secondary is improved and the defense as a whole, but they are still not great, so the drop off in the offense is not worth it because the d can't carry the offense like that Seattle's d still carries the offense the majority of the time.
  21. I agree Brees is obviously a better passer than Wilson and Sean Payton is a better OC/play caller than Darrel Bevell. Graham is struggling because he can't block in a run based offence. Seattle really has to feed Lynch first though that's just how the system is. But look at Carolina they are very similar to Seattle both have a good TE mobile qb and medicore receivers. Carolina's o-line is much better than Seattle's though that is the main difference. Seattle's greatest weakness if their o-line.
  22. To be fair he doesn't have much at receiver besides a big target in Graham. Terrible oline that strugles to pass block and not the greatest at run blocking Lynch gets hit in the backfield 3 yards deep on every play almost. Seahawks spend their cap on D #2 team in the league in terms of spending money for D. Bottom 10 on spending for o-line. Have to give qb the money other options via draft, trade, or free agency are not very good. Look around the league teams are desperate for a franchise qb and invest tons of money and time trying to find and get that guy. Good qbs dont become avaialable unless coming off injury.
  23. No idea there is Connor Cook of Michigan State and Jared Goff from Cal seen as more traditional pocket qbs. Then there is Cardale Jones, Trevone Boykin, Dak Prescott more mobile running qbs who are inconsistent passing from the pocket and with decision making. No sure things most likely long way to go. Combine and pro days as well as College all star gsmes and accolades like the Heisman inflate value.
