  1. 4th quarter @RUPERTKBD now or never for the to force a game changing turnover from that #1 Bills d. Good game so far. Chiefs d has played much better than I expected them to.
  2. Hardman- "I look real cool to-day".
  3. I know he is playing through a hand/thumb injury but this guy has sucked so bad. Throws terrible picks and makes dumb turnovers. The d and special teams have carried him in the playoffs. It feels like he is the Alex Smith to the Colin Kaepernick biding his time on the bench (Trey Lance). Let's not forget how he couldn't make the plays needed up 10 on the Chiefs in the 4th quarter. He has definitely sold his soul to have the life and career he has had. That maniacal drive is unbelievable. You would think he would soften a bit with age and wisdom and the fact he has won more and already made insane amounts of money already that his entire teammates combined won't match. He has been in more playoff games than most franchises but he is still a grade A prick.
  4. Bills #1 d playing bend but don't break against this explosive Chiefs offence. Holding up so far @RUPERTKBD...
  5. Mahomes threw that like a young Aaron Rodgers.
  6. 49ers own the Rams all the pressure is on L.A. at home to win the Super Bowl at home. Think the Bills or Chiefs are better than the Rams and definitely the 49ers.
  7. 49ers fans taking that brand new stadium over. 49ers couldn't ask for a better opponent to play to go the Super Bowl Kyle Shanahan owns Sean McVay and the Rams. Like it's crazy a team like the 49ers squeaked into the playoffs with a dramatic OT comeback vs the Rams and now they can spoil the Rams Super Bowl coronation. This is a better script han most sports movies!!!
  8. Remember when "they" used to say he could play until 50 the way he skates!! Reminds me of a Sam Gagner, cagey veteran still sticking around partly off name recognition.
  9. Not NHL regulars so don't count yet. When you are one of the guys on the fringes scrapping just to keep a spot in the league every bit of an opportunity helps like having his bro already in Detroit.Just the optics and timing are not great. Sure if they wanted to get rid of him they could have done it a week or two earlier no without coming around MLK day? Let's hope he can have a similar career to Luke Schenn as the tough, strong, hitting, shot blocking, sticking up for teammates 3rd pair right shot. It's never that simple though. He wasn't solely claimed for his hockey skills his color plays a part either positively or negatively in him getting opportunities. I don't have a problem with Tampa putting him on waivers generally speaking, my comments are about the timing of it coming around the MLK day because it is bad optics imo. They could have easily waived him a week or two early or later. Luckily for him Detroit had his brother on the team so they saw that as an opportunity for them. 2 brothers on the same NHL team is very rare for minorities. A players background is always going to factor in for opportunity because the NHL is an old boys club. Coaches,Gms, and owners are usually old white guys from a bygone era. Some of the fringe guys like the Megna and Chaputs of the world could have had their roles filled with a couple minorities who bring more value to the organization off the ice than those two ever did on ice and they probably would have been just as solid of players. Those guys like the Steve Pinizzotos and the minor leagers and players of Italian backgrounds get a leg up when the Canucks look for depth pieces in the organization. White fringe players have been getting favorable opportunities for quite a while. I have no doubt we would see more minorities especially with a more concerted effort.
  10. Damn a brother lost his spot in black history month on the heels of MLK day and Willie O'Ree having his jersey retired in Boston. Did they really have to do him like that? Would be a great PR move for the Canucks to pick him up while they have some Covid protocols to sort through. They need more women and people with disabilities to be given a fair chance along with the LQBTQIA and the BIPOC the NHL needs to become as diverse as its fans and needs fresh perspectives if they want to grow the game long term. The Canucks had some colorful minorities pun intended in their modern history including Anson Carter, Kevin Weekes, Donald Brashear, Gino Odjick and Nathan Lafayette to name a few. As of now the only ethnic minority is Travis Hamonic who is a native. They need more representation in a supposed top multicultural city like Vancouver.
  11. I agree that wasn't the best result. Some teams this year snuck in by luck and circumstances because better teams had injuries or more difficult schedules. We missed having perennial playoff powerhouses like the Saints,Ravens, and Seahawks. It was a weird season with no truly elite team that separated itself during the regular season other than the Packers maybe. I think they could afford to add another wildcard team in another 4-5 years depending on how things go and go back to the top 2 respective conference teams both getting the first week bye. Regardless we are down to the best 8 teams in the NFL this season and other than the Bengals,49ers, and the Titans, the remaining 5 are legit SuperBowl contenders. 1. Green Bay 2. Tampa Bay 3. Buffalo 4. Kansas City 5. Los Angeles Any of these teams winning the Superbowl shouldn't come as a huge shock imo other than the Bills for some people who won't believe it until it actually happens... Some would say Jimmie Johnson was the straw that stirred the drink. Jerry's ego is too big but in recent years he has seemingly yaken a step back and listening to Stephen Jones and Will McCray.
  12. Interesting you bring that up. Jesse Palmer, who was a former NFL QB who is Canadian and is now a college football analyst, thinks the Cowboys need to fire McCarthy in order to keep Kellan Moore in house as the new HC and prevent him from getting poached by another team.
  13. I think I will skip this one too expecting Chiefs to roll should be a blowout. 30-10 Chiefs maybe? Big Ben really needs to retire his arm is shot. Only good thing he does right now is he gets rid of the ball quicker I guess. Steelers need a new franchise qb and this year's draft class is pretty meh for qbs.
  14. They keep showing that woman Cowboys fan keep crying over and over...
  15. 49ers totally unprepared had to take a timeout because they can't get lined up?! Then the Cowboys with an even more stupid decision!!! What a clown show late..
  16. The 49ers doing everything they can to blow this game. They don't want to get their asses spanked in the tundra.
  17. Also Fred Warner playing banged up the qb of that d who lines them up.
  18. Man he is so atrocious at times. He is worse than Kirk Cousins. He is nothing but a game manager and even then he makes some truly bonehead decisions and risky throws. He missed Aiyuk wide open on a huge potential splash play!! Problem is Trey Lance their rookie QB doesn't have the game experience or the accuracy to replace him yet. Kyle Shanahan would probably prefer any of the other rookie qbs instead of the organization having had to allegedly over ruled him and drafting Lance. Trey Lance is extremely raw but has the highest untapped upside as a dual threat.
  19. I would have loved Justin Fields he is similar to Hurts. Better arm and speed and more consistent mechanics. But then he would not have had anyone to throw to on this team besides the TE's and maybe Quez Watkins. After QB WR is the most important skill position imo. You obviously need a good OL but great WRs make great offences. Every top offence has 3 or 4 guys they can rekt on to make plays for them when their number is called. The Eagles only had Goedert the big TE and Smith. Like going to a gun fight with a knife against all these top offensive teams.
  20. Not going for it on 4th down in Cowboys territory there was a bad look for the 49ers got to stay agressive in the playoffs trying to pull the road team upset. Now you let Dallas get a TD and the crowd gets in the game the offence has some momentum and the d gets a blow. Kyle Shanahan cost the Falcons the Super Bowl and he is going to cost the 49ers with his conservative in game decisions still.
  21. Now if only he had a real qb who could deliver a consistent catchable ball...
  22. They could have taken Brady out of the game in the 4th and just put in Gabbert to hand the ball off. The entire fourth quarter was garbage time. They risked him taking a late hit with a hobbled OL but whatever. A better team is going to give them a shock.
