  1. &^@# I can't watch the gamed what's going on who is playing good?
  2. He means the neutrals and the ones who just wanted to see a different team win other than Golden State. Apparently some guy in a Warriors jersey also got jumped by some "Raptor" fans.
  3. Man I felt this way too was soo bummed felt like game 2 again they let it slip away. This time it was only a 9-0 run on quick dagger 3's vs 18-0. I think so too. But they need to have a much better start to set the tone and keep the crowd out of the game as much as possible. Raps gotta keep the big fella Boogie off the glass and make sure to box out. Can't let him be a factor. When both Gasol and Ibaka have strong games together, the Warriors have no answer for it. I am envisioning Kawhi attacking early, getting to the tin with Klay and Donkey getting in foul trouble. When your jump shot is not falling, have to get in the paint and crash the boards for those rebounds and put back chances. Last game at Oracle and Warriors seem to have found a spark in playing to win it for Durant and force a game 7. Raptors have to take their hope and energy away and play suffocating d like they did in game 4.
  4. I found this very interesting. Not often you have a true team full of underdogs. These are guys who just play hard and are able to stay level headed in this sport dominated by big egos and superstars. The Raptors top 3 players all worked their way into becoming who they are now, it wasn't an instant thing as soon as they got to the league. We all know about Siakam's story, but Lowry was a journeyman basically until he got to the Raptors, and he made himself into a well rounded PG ,who has now made multiple all star appearances. In college, Kawhi was not a great shooter at the beginning. He improved a lot over the years but he made his mark first as a defensive stopper in the league, before becoming the best 2 way threat in the NBA right now. This version of the Raptors is truly a team. They play as a unit 1 through 5. There is really no weak link on defence to attack over and over like most teams. It's the most fun "team basketball" that I can remember watching in recent memory. I hope they can finish it off tonight.
  5. So it seems the plot thickens... I hope he plays and they still beat the Warriors. It would seem to be a movie script worthy end to the dynasty...
  6. How tough is it to find a good young American RB instead of these CFL retreads these past 4 years? I mean Jeremiah Johnson, Tyrell Sutton, Brandon Rutley, now John White IV? When was the last time the Lions had a CFL rookie of the year candidate? They used to have exciting jitterbug runners who could make big plays with their speed and agility like Stefan Logan and Yonus Davis. Now it is just a bunch of power guys who can hit singles and doubles but lack that flash and homerun juice.
  7. I just hope Raptors haters and Golden State apologists don't hold that against the Raptors when they win the 'ship. Already hearing people saying they are only winning because of no KD. Well then what about when LeBron was by himself in the Finals, with Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving injured and still pushed the Warriors to 6?
  8. True but Ibaka is more athletic and allows the Raptors to play at a faster pace.
  9. Lowry got pushed by that fan was totally unnecessary. Seemed to give him a spark..
  10. They need Kawhi to get going too but man Lowry is really overagressive sometimes and takes dumb fouls.
  11. I would watch Mike Breen and Mark Jackson and even Jeff Van Gundy, but they are on like a 7 second delay behind the TSN or Sportsnet feed in Canada...
  12. Your boy Chef low-key getting clamped by Steady Freddy Sr...
  13. This Quinn Cook guy thinks he is Steph Curry JR or something..
  14. This should be a 15 point plus lead. The fact they haven't pulled away yet is concerning considering the Hampton 5 is close to being reunited.
  15. Gasol is a donkey taking stupid fouls on Cousins jacking up 3s. While Bogut works him over. Put in Ibaka please.
  16. Just heard on Sportsnet TV that Durant is expected back in game 4. This is what I thought all along. No way he doesn't play at all. Even at 70% he gets props from everyone for coming back vs not playing at all especially if the Raptors won because of his not playing.
  17. Metallica Enter Sandman? Let's go. Raptors need to steal this one.
  18. On paper no, but in reality... Yes they can.. Health is a big question mark. If Thompson is out for even a game or 2 and meanwhile Durant can't get healthy fast enough, for them to put him out there, then you are looking at a split in Oracle at minimum. With the home crowd in game 5 and 7 potentially...
