      I dig it. I really adore the Canucks redone stick-in-rink too, but the texturing on the buffalo jersey is fantastic. The gold also looks pretty cool.

    What if New Jersey offered Taylor Hall for Quinn Hughes? Would you make that deal? I wouldn't.

      Not in a million years.

       

      Hall is definitely a top winger in the league but we absolutely need a high end puck moving defenseman more. Hughes is a huge part of the core going forward and I'd argue a lot of our success is dependent on how he develops. Someone with his skillset can turn your entire team around if you have the right pieces around him.

       

      Its not even a player value argument to me so much as it goes against prioritized positional need. We do need a top six winger but not at the expense of our only franchise potential defender.

    24 YO RHD American born good offensive output in the SHL speed and good shot. ticks alot of boxes.

    This is the draft where I'd rather not get 1st. Kakko is better for our team's needs, but it'd be so much fun to see the Hughes bros play for the same team. Hope for 2nd, and let a different team make that decision.

      I think that Kakko is going to firmly be the better NHL player, so I don't really disagree.

       

      Without the boost players who play C always get, I don't think Hughes would go before him.

      Secret Skin by Open Mike Eagle is a really good podcast if you want to listen to various underground music acts talk about what their careers are like scraping by to be able to survive off of art. It's really peaceful and wholesome usually as well.

    I wonder how well the Canucks would be doing had they been the team that picked up Jeff Skinner and Carter Hutton (or another good free agent goalie) in the off-season and not the Sabres.  Hutton is on fire recently and Skinner is 2nd in the league in goals.  Skinner would have matched well with Bo and the Canucks could definitely use a better netminder.

      That being said, I love seeing the Sabres do well. I got a big soft spot for that team because Maxim Afinogenov used to be one of my favorite players to watch for some reason lol

    Finally heard some tunes by the late XXXTENTACION. Actually not bad stuff.

      I followed X too and I have a completely different perception of him. He was a bad dude. Broken? Yes. But that doesn't excuse anything. It doesn't mean he deserved to die either. Unless it was confirmed fabricated, he had a history of sexual assault threats. He asked a girl to pick which cooking instrument he would shove inside of her, including a barbecue fork or scraper or something like that.

       

      There was also some question as to whether or not he actually donated to the charities that were claimed, but I digress. I don't support abusive humans, or I do my best not to. Unfortunately, his life was taken from he before he truly got to turn it around. I still can't support that sort of thing, morally, though.

       

      I can overlook the changes, because personally, it's not enough to outweigh the garbage things he did. That's me though, and I'm not saying that anyone else has to feel similarly. But to me, it feels little different than making an excuse for 6ix9ine or R. Kelly (though the latter is arguably significantly worse).

      That's 'cause your body is dependant on it and you're having withdrawals lmao.

       

      I recently quit caffeine because my intake was above safe levels and my doctor gave me crap. It's been two weeks and I'm still getting withdrawal symptoms.
