  1. So when do the bids need to be in by?
  2. Okay so let me see if i get this. We nominate a player each in this thread (5 of us by Tuesday and the other 5 by Friday) and we send a blind bid on all of them to deb via pm that would look something like this. Player A = 20$ Player B = 0$ Player C = 10$ Player D = 1$ ... And so lets say at the end i didn't spend 20 dollars I will have 110 going into the season? And will this start at the conclusion of the rookie draft?
  3. Umm picked him first overall lol
  4. I thought he was gonna go with a different rookie pass catcher on the ravens
  5. So for the rookie draft it was kind of a toss up between between Gurley and Gordon for me, but decided based on injury and the fact I'll be out of the NFC West I take Melvin Gordon
  6. Well he's all yours if you'd like. I'm going with Travis Kelce
  7. Sorry for kind of slowing this down. How do I figure out who is available or not. When I go the free agent list on the league site it lists every player such as Andrew Luck, Aaron Rodgers etc. Edit: Nvm didn't realize how awesome gmen is and that he updated the op with the available players list. With the 8th pick of the CDC fantasy league expansion draft I select Andre Williams, running back of the New York Giants Calvin Johnsons are now on the clock
  8. So we just wait for everybody to make their pick in here or something?
  9. Question here, but what exactly is a ppr league? I voted commissioner's choice just because I don't really know what it is so figured I'd let the more knowledgeable fantasy people vote it out. Is it just one point every time your rb/wr/te make a catch on top of the yardage total or is there more to it than that? I do however feel there isn't really a need to redraft the teams if we make changes to the rules. Nobody went into the draft last year planning for the new rule changes so everybody is kind of forced to make changes on the fly, not like some knew and could plan for it and others are being forced to adjust to make it an unequal playing field.
  10. So he's gonna sign with Dallas in the next week or two I'm guessing? In all seriousness though this guy never deserves to see anything but cell bars, let alone a football field for the foreseeable future. Domestic violence is never okay and add onto that the woman was holding an infant this guy is just a crappy human being
  11. Lions will not be 7-9 next year. At minimum will be 9-7. People are overestimating the loss of suh. He is an insane talent, but he doesn't equate to 3-4 wins like most people are saying. Add on to that the continued development of young guys on defense like slay and ansah as well as tulloch returning i think its still a top 10 defense. The offense should be MUCH improved this year as well. Through the draft the running game has seemingly been solidified. Ebron should be alot better after having a year to adjust to the nfl, look at the tight end greats. Near all have struggled their rookie years. On top of all that stafford will be in year 2 of the new system on offense. Last year was an adjustment year to learn how to play differently after the first 5 years of his career was a vertical offense where half the play calls was throw it to calvin johnson and let him make a play. Stafford is just recently learning how to be a good qb rather than just one with a strong arm throwing to one of the best receivers ever not named rice
  12. Yup got it. So just to be clear so I don't make a mistake you want us to select to keep our whole team pretty much and then we'll take care of the other stuff later?
  13. So I went to go check out our league page and it says under keeper rules we now get 20 keepers so I'm assuming we've made the switch to dynasty league? If we have does that mean we choose to keep all players we have or all but the 0-5 we want to drop as you outlined somewhere above
  14. Personally I like the keeper format we already have in place. The way we have it set up it makes every year a mostly fresh start. Keeps things new as well as allowing us to hold on to our late round gems. Personally for me I worry about things getting kind of stale/boring using pretty close to the same team over and over again Edit: with all that said i'm not too stubborn on the whole thing. Will go with the majority
  15. Anybody want to help me out with my last keeper pick? I'm between Matt Stafford and Carlos Hyde
  16. Yeah i got that. Just joking around cuz you said drew stafford rather than matt. Grammar nazi joke didnt work
  17. So does this mean I can still take Matt Stafford? I think something weird went on with the draft recap though. No Lesean McCoy or Jamal Charles in the first 3 rounds last year and somebody took Terrance Williams? Probably happened when we switched over to espn, I think we started on yahoo didn't we?
  18. I thought i did cuz i won all my games in the consolation playoffs? Or am i off on that and make that up in my head?
  19. Yeah I'm easy as which way we go. I just want that #1 pick .
  20. Damn. Hammer dropped. I think they should be able to reasonably hold fort down and sneak into the playoffs. Loss of the first rounder is something I wasn't expecting though. I'm happy enough though. Can't wait for the new few pages of Makaveli vs NPF & Magician though. Made for some entertaining reading earlier this week
  21. Wow. First day of rookie camps and a torn acl. You almost start to feel bad for that franchise, but I think it's a rule that they aren't allowed to be good outside of that one fluke year with Garrard
