I missed the Podz response, if he scores 10-15 goals and like tonight make the difference in a game then that's fine for me in his first season and he's just warming up.. quote me on that at the end of the season.
The main thing I notice about Podkolzin is his hockey sense and vision. Add in tenacious forechecking, a heavy physical presence and a big league shot and you have a kid who raises his game when he plays with elite players. It is really enjoyable to see him improve game by game.
