Tell you what though sparkle, I'd dare anyone I know to stand in the crease and take a hard hack at Demko or Holts, he wouldn't just skate away as we've seen by other players here in the past, say what you will about him but at least give him that... that's an obvious one and in the playoffs you know how much that counts...

omg I wish... he'd be the talk of the game or close to the top.. that boy has a built in overdrive that you seldom see compared to most guys, can't replicate that, it's built in naturally.. we need more player's like that and not just in a "sparkplug" bottom 6 type either, he's the real deal and his ceiling? wow ummm with skills like that? who knows! people have said things about his lack of scoring but who can with next to no playing time for as long as that was, but you always knew when he was on the ice buzzing around controlling the puck or trying to read and position for a fast steal.. that's nothing but determined hockey sense... I'm sooooo looking forward to watching that young skilled pitbull going ears back!

Nah those we're just Petey's relatives showing up to the party early.. you know how those aliens can be like, but I bet their proud of Petey now

what? you forgot to pay me your $10,000 registration fee? tsk tsk tsk what's this world coming to??

ummm Podz isn't lazy.. he did great by the way, much like his team, nobody can finish his passes to put pucks in the net or his point totals would be through the roof but I doubt you watched him closely because beside having skills like no one's business, he also plays a great D game and comparing him to JV? are you stupid?

oh right it was Nonis wasn't it... at any rate I swear the cap killed this team and yeah I remember that was the reason Luo was signed like he was... sorry some parts of the last 40 years blur into each other, not much has changed, I swear this team is cursed sometimes but at least we have an owner who doesn't mind spending up to the cap... all we can hope for now is JB pulling off bridge deals with Petey and Hughes so we have some more wiggle room to sign a top 4 D and if Podz works out as expected we're pretty much set... and in 2 seasons our depth will have experience, our younger guys too, so it's not happening as fast as we want it to but it'll happen, nothing to freak out over... -
I actually read it right up to the point where you said Podz is hit or miss and then realized you have no clue about what your talking about, or probably hockey in general as much as you seem to think so but go ahead, make yourself look like a clueless talking head, there are many, join right in...

andddddd? that's supposed to have some meaning in light of our situation in the last 5 years and it's over in 2 years when we're finally set up... this whole thread seems redundant..
-
Ok we're in the end portion of the build, in a covid crisis shortened season and no cap increase so this thread means what exactly?

MG locked down players for long term because there was no cap at all.. this is news to you? How long did you think it would take and after contracts are closing you have to find players with that can fit together and play as a team for each other first, some teams are still stuck in that too but JB has put together a really good core and if you don't think that's time consuming and tricky at the best of times and you never know who is going to work out and who isn't and it's an educated guess and the great one Scotty bowman would tell you the same thing, he's said it before and it's true but as we get Podz and a top 4 D and our bottom 6 is cleared out except for the best ones who make it to 2 years from now will be our best bet and arguably our best team in years but hey it's just all that easy isn't it.. being a GM according to the CDC and media is just all that easy right? relax already... (take finger off panick button) and back away slowly... -

You really need to stop listening to the media so much, I read everything you responded with and zero of it holds any water.. I don't have the time tonight to sit and tear it down piece by piece to show you but I will and in some of it your just missing what he was trying to explain, the rest is just laughable.. I'll do one though, with Tryamkin on the team how often did other players run our stars'? just by his presence ALONE, no other player other than Gino or Brash cane close to that.. the nightly beatings stopped unless you didn't notice... -

Yeah and most lose the fact he is a BIG boy that can actually clear the crease and keep opponents out of our goalies face so he can see the puck but hey it's ALL analytics isn't it? too funny hey? geeez -

Nods... but then again this is the CDC.. nothing should surprise and anyone, and to prove it.. I remember the post "burrows, do we really need him" All I could think of after reading that was "are you for real?" or are you the biggest troll in CDC history? So same ole' _hit, different day.. -

well that's true as you said about more than goals and assists then why do you skip over the best thing he has about him that this team needs and has needed for years then? do you want a hint on what that is, and if you do know, why do you dismiss it like it's nothing? -

dude.. How many NTC's did we have when he took over? they all didn't have the same year of ending, you can't rebuild until the majority of them are gone and that's when it started.. re-tool then into rebuild... that's how it went, like it or not.. no it hasn't been fun BUT we're as close to having a cup contender that we were against Boston if you can see it or not.. -

and what exactly do you think you know about a good hockey player? not much by the looks of it... and how come our young guys loved the experienced guys helping them with aspects of their game they needed help with? I guess that means nothing.. -

Settle down at MG, he was handed a $&!#z team and had no other choice and he had no cupboard to start with either, and we almost beat Boston, one more year without the cap and we'd have had a cup here...
