dead weight?! you mean now or when they got here, if you believe that when they got here you'd be a idiot.. this is not Edmonton by the way with so many first round picks and hardly anyone to lead them.. they got destroyed because of that... -

those contracts were specifically designed for mentorship and as always, we have to overpay to get anyone here, well at least at the time. -

Those are mis-steps your believing just like everyone else, I'd rather have the cap left by TT to use on D because Podz will step in and be a difference maker right away and that cheaply on a ELC, we weren't going to the cup this year with our without TT. Tanev, you'd sign a guy with his injury record and age? really? Even Marky is getting up there too much and won't be able to hold his game as any goalie couldn't so that's not a slam on him at all but when you consider we got Holtby for the 2 years we need for Demko to get used to the workload to take over number 1 is exactly the right decision to make. -

man I wish we had a guy like Tryamkin in that series... only guy I can think of that would have went toe to toe with Chara and co. but I'm not going really deep in that or I could have pointed to others like Brash but Train would have been a game changer in that series.. anyone who can grab a 6' 200 pound guy and through him around like a ragdoll is something we still need to this day -
That's hilarious! Really? No sorry but your mistaken, and the so-called analyst's on TSN and SN are just as clueless as the ones in Vancouver, proof? they said the same thing with JT Miller but we underpaid for him instead, and seriously, your ok with having a butter soft team that gets beat on? the Sedin beatings must have been ok with you right? Andddd who did said fans agree with until proven wrong? they agreed with the media, which was laughable... good grief.. and before that, that Horvat was a career 3rd line guy that couldn't skate well, Petey was too "slight"... want more? there's LOTS!

Nah, I was meaning $&!# like the JT Miller fiasco, or was supposed to be a fiasco until he shut them up and most of the CDC that went along with them instead of doing their own FACT checking first.. -

You mean journalism with accountability actually applies to our lame ass media? Think someone should send them a email and notify them... it would be news to them, that's for sure... -
Overpaying players to come here is nothing new, the Canadian dollar and idiot fans who are clueless has a lot to do with it, especially when their clueless about the extra's a player bring and I'll use your example, Myers, he's worth every penny because of his size but most people forget about that until we need that size but usually too stupid to think about it before beaking off... same with Tryamkin.. and do I expect any of this to change anytime soon ? uhhhh nope!
