I agree BUT in a way this doesn't hurt us, both need experience and if one goes down and the other isn't rusty from getting some time in, especially against better than average teams so yes I agree I'd have nothing against OJ being in every game and get settled in but I guess Green wants Chat some games in too, not a dick move imo, just a change up... or thought OJ could use a cpl of games off.. who knows right?

And we've been stuck in 3rd gear since the first game back, no Miller for a few games either didn't help but OTT, imo got saved from even worse embarrassment had we really been going full out 5th gear like last year's playoffs but it seems like a bit more rev and then into 4th.. but after tonight I hope it gets into 5th as 3 games of practice are over... much like the preseason games that should have been we fortunately got late like this but hopefully we help that out tonight and keep it going but maybe it took a shock for everyone to re-up our game again, I don't know but I hope so..

I know hey? maybe they should keep letting 40+ shots or he might have a heart attack from the shock of it being from 25-30 or he might think he dreaming or something.. In all seriousness, we sure have to sort that $&!#e out and keep it that way, relying on our goalie so much to win games that much is unacceptable.

Sounds like the Vancouver media in general and certain Cdc'rs that believe them.. again I'll point out JT Miller, wahhhhh we lost a conditional first round pic, the sky is falling and we're F'd!!! oh wait he ended up the team's leading scorer.. oops.. typical b.s. whining, your right. Heck we could probably win 5 cups in a row and they'd still bitch about it somehow...

Hmmm.. wonder if sutts keep playing that well and the bottom six starts to click more and so does top 6, D gets healthy and it becomes a lot more fun to watch again... 2 more seasons, I can take that... Not much left to do with this team and them see where it goes, but some realized it would be a 5-6 year build and we're almost there...

Jim Benning, An Excellent Evaluator of Talent, BUT NO GM!

you have more nerve than Dick Tracy calling someone other than yourself 'incompetant" -
I wouldn't say we're washed just yet... I still look at this as if it was preseason and sorry but I played for the Regals in Powell River and if you think you can just get used to how a new guy plays, thinks, and fits in just that easy, from experience, I have news for you.. it's just not so, hockey is just too fast and unpredictable game at best, for it not to be and not even including other factors so sorry but I disagree..

Upon arrival the viable solution to losing TT will be gradual depending on said player named Podz, will be as fast as he adjusts to the NHL and be consistent and CHEAPER on a ELC and by the way Tanev is no Schmidt at play driving either so it was a trade off, until we have the whole team playing a sound 200 ft game we will have to have top D men so obviously D is a work on thing, it's not as far along as forward BUT it will get better since I believe JB said and it's obvious anyway we need/ed upgrade there too and Tanev is only a better in his own end when he was actually on the ice and not injured which killed us and still would... I still bet Holtby returns to Vezina form with (Clarks help) when called upon, and by the way, have a look forward to 2 years from now when the players who were signed to mentor are gone and we have 2 more years experience... Rome wasn't built in a day man... just saying

exactly but I guess not many were paying attention to JB when he said in an interview he got a really good look at exactly how physical the playoffs actually went out and tried to toughen our then cream puff team no other GM other than Gillis had the balls to go against the grain and fan favorites who were way over rated here but at least we're not that team anymore... side note, wish we had JT Miller to put with the twins in their prime... Besides Carter, we never did get to out anyone tough and skilled enough to put with them.. but no longer are we staying in that cream puff team that does great in the regular season and gets beat on in the playoffs and get booted first round... we 've been there and done that for way too many years here! I'd rather rip that down and rebuilt, even if it's not done as fast as we'd like as long as it's done!!! f'n tired of watching that painful ending of a hockey season year after year and getting excited for nothing because we looked so good in the regular season.. had enough.. glad it's over! Honestly if guys like Gillis (even though he failed when the cap messed up his plans) and JB tearing it down actually kept me from giving up any hope whatsoever of it changing... I'll take growing pains like we're going through now any day compared to that

or he will learn through the fire.. it's not like he's stupid and unteachable, seems to me he has a bit of a proactive leaning way of thinking so I can see him trying to up his game too, who knows... I for one, actually think when the rebuild is over and we have the right pieces and depth in 2 seasons, hard to imagine anyone who could screw it up but then again Green could be a lot better too with 2 more seasons under his belt, but again, who knows... Hard to expect this young team to overachieve like in the playoffs during the regular season with the turnstile still slowing down from all the new faces in the past 3 years and this year especially.. I know the CDC is imploding but wouldn't be the first time! I wouldn't lose any sleep over it, happy the way the team is headed in the build and it's great if we do well right now but it also could be team building as we work out way out of this and actually have an identity for the first time since 2012..
