  1. There are hockey threads on here in case you haven’t noticed.
  2. Yeah, I know lot of people and countries don’t like that fact due to nature of the U.S hegemony. But numbers are not really open to interpretation, 1+1=2.
  3. I was just reading an article from well known economist back in the old country. He had some interesting stats in his article so I thought of your post. In terms of worldwide currency purchase, USD represents 88% of the volume, 61% of world currency reserve and 44% of transactions that go through SWIFT global system.
  4. Buying Nike in March at $60 was a very good idea, $100 today. Long term hold.
  5. Up 140% over the last two months, that’s crazy!
  6. Trump the frump has a small stump.
  7. Oh...got it, thanks, I was trying to figure it out.
  8. Trying to. I am trying to figure out what that swear word is.
  9. Make Canada great again. Asian-Canadian boy attacked, blamed for ‘spreading’ coronavirus, says Saskatoon father https://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/canada/asian-canadian-boy-attacked-blamed-for-spreading-coronavirus-says-saskatoon-father/ar-BB14x0R5?li=AAggNb9
  10. Good thing that some in Canada are taking social distancing more seriously.
  11. So what you are saying is that I should close my IRA and trading account with them.
  12. The other day moderna market cap was almost 30b and they have no drugs on the market. Valuation is based on potential in their pipeline. Just as good as when Amarin was trading around $25, basically fish oil pill.
  13. Biden’s view on Keystone has ruffled some feathers in AB. Kenney says Biden’s comments on Keystone XL ‘suggest he hasn’t been accurately briefed’ https://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/canada/kenney-says-bidens-comments-on-keystone-xl-suggest-he-hasnt-been-accurately-briefed/ar-BB14tCHu?li=AAggNb9
  14. @nuckin_futz It seems that China will have issues with others besides Australia and Canada. https://www.hindustantimes.com/world-news/militaries-of-india-and-china-on-high-alert-as-border-tensions-escalate/story-jMuroxwVnpIXZoR8x8YLwO.html https://www.reuters.com/article/us-taiwan-usa-security/us-to-sell-taiwan-180-million-worth-of-torpedoes-idUSKBN22X01N
  15. It’s amazing that some of these “sources” have been peddling same nonsense stocks for years on end. Motley fool with their “we are in for $521k in this one stock” crap, like come on, why is it always $521k, why not 750k? Also if Cramer says buy, I stay far far away!
  16. I have always been a supporter of countries being not so reliant on the U.S military. This is especially true with the European countries. The problem is, Trump changes his opinion like I change socks, one tweet it’s up next tweet is down. When you are so unreliable it’s hard to forge alliances, this guy would leave his own family behind.
  17. With the current administration in the White House I would be worried if I was any country tied to the U.S. From Baltic states, Poland, Taiwan, Kosovo, Iraq, Australia, Canada etc. Second term would be free for all for some of these other countries that have territorial aspirations.
  18. Short answer is yes, long and very detailed explanation see @nuckin_futz
  19. Got my beef and pork delivery yesterday, sold Tyson for a hefty profit and it’s all good.
  20. Skirt steak tacos and patron margaritas!

  21. Them Asian hornets are getting covid Infected pollen from 5G towers and spreading it around. Its part of Chinese invasion of the west, better keep powder dry!
  22. Honestly, you are right, after U.S, Canada and Mexico would most benefit from common sense gun laws. How to get there, unfortunately I have no idea, especially in today’s political climate.
  23. Canada has pretty good gun laws, unfortunately it’s neighbor doesn’t. Mexico has really tough gun laws, to get a gun there you really have to jump through hoops. Drugs travel north, guns travel south in their case. Canada has higher rate of gun violence in comparison to Western Europe, I think the only difference is where it’s located. Ever since the Balkan wars of the 90s, guns have flooded Europe, in Sweden hand grenade attacks are common. That was unheard of 30 years ago but it has changed, rocket launchers, grenades, AKs that you see over there are mostly from former Yugoslavia. That and lot of criminals and killers that honed their skills during the war.
